The extent to which creases are removed very much depends on the type of fabric, as the fibre types all behave differently. Creases in textiles made from cotton and polyester fabric blends or wool, for instance, can be removed significantly more effectively than those in textiles made from linen, cotton or silk. A superior crease removal effect can also be achieved with cotton shirts labelled as “anti-crease” or “easy-care”.

The additional hygiene program eliminates germs using an elevated temperature (above 60°C) over a relatively long exposure time. Independent laboratory trials have confirmed a reduction in germs of up to 99.99%.

Yes, in principle, body odour can also be removed from fabrics. It should be kept in mind, however, that body odour is produced to help remove bacteria. Since sweat is unique to each individual, the treatment result may differ from person to person. We recommend washing sweaty clothes.

Yes, wet clothes can easily be dried again in next to no time using the additional drying program.

Specifically designed with night-time usage in mind, the Silent program emits no noise at all. During the night, the program can take longer, but needs to be as quiet as possible – which is exactly what the Silent program offers.

Sprint programs are suitable for lightly soiled pre-dinner or coffee dishes. Sprint programs are not suitable for normally or heavily soiled plates/pans and other items. If you use tabs, we recommend that you select the All in 1 function in the user settings. The All in 1 function extends very fast programs, meaning that the tabs are able to dissolve and achieve their full cleaning effect.

The nominal load is 1–7 kg for the drying process in the machine. If room air laundry drying is applied, a maximum room size of 25 m² is recommended. The room air laundry dryer has a drying capacity of 1.34 kg/h, which corresponds to about 5 hours for a full laundry load of 7 kg.

There are two options. In the event of minor soiling, the unique, automatic cleaning program can be started via the OptiDos settings. It rinses both OptiDos dispensers with water. The second option can be applied when switching from softener to detergent or in the event of strong soiling (e.g. built-up deposits of detergent). This involves easily removing the OptiDos drawer manually without using tools and cleaning it by rinsing under the tap. Do not clean the drawer in the dishwasher.

Our anti-crease programme is yet another highlight of the comprehensive V-ZUG laundry care range. It is designed primarily for blouses, shirts, T-shirts and cotton trousers that are treated for 20 minutes. Put the items on hangers while they are still slightly damp. Iron them lightly if required and they will look as good as new.

The «WetClean» programme is ideal for that purpose. It takes just five minutes to breathe new life into your woollens. Your woolly jumpers and similar garments will feel much softer and fluffier on your skin - no more scratchiness or skin irritation.

Use this programme if you plan to iron your laundry immediately after washing it.

No. Both detergent dispensers are supplied with the washing machine and can be immediately filled with the desired liquid agents or softeners.

For security reasons, a Bluetooth connection is required for the initial pairing and for functions that can only be carried out in the vicinity of the appliance. This means that it is only active while you are in the vicinity of the appliance.

The appliance’s wi-fi connection is always active. If remote access is not set up, you must be on the same wi-fi network as your mobile phone or tablet. If remote access is set up, you only need an active internet connection on your mobile phone or tablet.

Indeed, thorough spinning reduces the time and energy required to dry your laundry. Creases caused during spinning will be largely flattened out in the tumble dryer.

The “Upper rack only”’ function makes a ZUG dishwasher even more flexible and will save 2.6 litres of water, depending on the wash program.

It is unlikely that the combination of “comfort ventilation (target humidity: 30–50%) and DualDry (target humidity: 50–60%)” would cause problems.

All our latest washing machines (Adora) and tumble dryers (Adora) are available with the door hinges on the right-hand or left-hand side. This means you can choose the most suitable version for your circumstances.

Certain appliances feature a bottom compartment complete with bottle drawer, which offers vertical storage for many large bottles in a handy removable basket. A bottle rack for horizontal storage is also available in certain models.

You can set up our dishwashers for use with hot water. To do this, you will need to select the hot water function in the user settings. The dishwasher will now work in an operating mode adapted for use with hot water.

The cooking chamber is heated by steam and hot air. The food is reheated gently without drying it out. This feature is suitable for reheating cooked food or for cooking convenience products and ready meals. Regeneration can be carried out simultaneously on several levels with no flavour transfer.

We recommend the following: Not all dishes are suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher. - Hand-wash items made of wood or plastic that are sensitive to alkalis or heat. - Earthenware tends to crack and splinter. - Glass and porcelain prints are only resistant to a limited extent and may dissolve over time. - Glass can become cloudy depending on the type and the detergent used. Check with your glass supplier whether the glass is dishwasher-safe. - Tension may develop in polished and thick-walled crystal glasses and bowls, which may lead to breakages. - Do not wash dishes with stickers. Dissolved stickers can block the filter system. - Objects made of silver, copper and tin tend to stain brown or black. - Aluminium tends to form stains. Wash aluminium separately or by hand.

Yes. Powder detergent, tabs, laundry bleach or comparable bleaches must not be filled in the containers.

The energy label provides information about this. Three factors are measured in washing machines – energy consumption, washing performance and spin efficiency. All V-ZUG washing machines have achieved an A+++ rating in energy efficiency.

Around 30% of the Swiss population have sensitive skin, which means that they need their laundry to be washed even more thoroughly than usual. The skin protection program in AdoraWash appliances is there to help with this by using a specially optimised rinsing procedure and ensuring that water penetrates the laundry extremely effectively. The V-ZUG Special Care Drum also whisks away any remaining traces of detergent. These features help to make skin irritation and itching from leftover detergent a thing of the past.

Use a magnet to test whether your pans can be used with an induction cooktop. If the magnet sticks to the base of your pan, you’re ready to go, otherwise, the pan will not work with an induction cooktop.

Since 2019, all our range hoods have been equipped exclusively with energy-saving LED lights. LEDs have energy-efficient properties plus a long service life.

The more the range hood covers the cooktop, the better the extraction performance. This is why flat pull-out deflector plates perform very well. For wall and island hoods, you should make sure that the majority of the cooktop is well covered.

Slight soiling can be removed with a smooth cloth and a little detergent. To tackle heavy dirt, apply glass ceramic cleaning agent with a sponge, leave it on for a few minutes and then remove it with a cloth. Encrusted dirt can be removed with a cooktop scraper.

With the new Adora model, VAS compensates an unbalanced load during the spinning phase. This means the machine runs particularly smoothly and quietly. Structure-borne sound and its transmission to adjacent rooms are greatly reduced, which makes the Adora ideal for use in apartments or in buildings with an air-proof envelope such as those built according to the MINERGIE® standard. The level of noise emitted by a range hood depends on the model and extracted air system chosen. In the case of extracted air range hoods, the following rule applies: the smaller the diameter of the exhaust duct, the louder the appliance. As a result, we recommend using a pipe diameter of 150 mm in extracted air mode.

By continuously monitoring water turbidity, the ZUG Adora can detect when your laundry has been sufficiently rinsed. This has two advantages: your clothes are perfectly rinsed and water consumption is reduced by 30%.

The appliance door can always be opened by hand or by using a wooden spoon. The best way to do this is to hold the corners of the glass front and open the door by hand.

All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models. What’s more, active appliance door ventilation also enables lower outer door temperatures for pyrolytic self-cleaning appliances.

The new knobs are made of high-quality anodised aluminium and come in Black, Platinum, and Pearl. They are durable, offer a premium look, include a prepared interface for easy connection, and can also be retrofitted later.

The FullFlex hob is available in Black, Platinum, and now also Pearl. The Black version features an even deeper shade for a smoother transition from the display to the frame. Not quite. The Down thick, Down thin, Bed linen and Outdoor programs used very rarely by users have not been adopted. This makes a clearer distinction between the V2000 and the V4000.

To fully enjoy OptiLink, both the cooktop and the hood must be equipped with the OptiLink function. Look out for the “Fan wheel with chain links” symbol in the “Equipment and operating modes” section.

Connecting, or pairing, your V-ZUG built-in range hood with our networkable cooktops is a breeze.

No, for security reasons, your smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as your V-ZUG appliance. But you will still get notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

To connect your appliance wirelessly using wi-fi, follow these steps:

• Activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance

• Download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet

• Use the app to connect the appliance to your home network.
