V-ZUG Adora SLQ WP: First washing machine to feature a heat pump

This is the first time that a manufacturer has succeeded in incorporating the innovative and proven heat pump technology in a washing machine.

The water is warmed not only by a traditional heating element but now also by a highly efficient, energy-saving heat pump. The Adora SLQ WP produced by V-ZUG in Switzerland adapts its energy consumption to personal preferences as it is possible to choose between three different EcoHybrid stages. This means that the water can be warmed by the heat pump alone (optimum energy efficiency), largely by the heat pump or in equal parts by the heat pump.

Power consumption is much lower than with conventional washing machines, beating the best energy efficiency class (A+++) by a further 40%. This means the Adora SLQ WP is both efficient and gentle on the environment.

Alongside the energy-saving potential, the appliance features further good inventions that are of great benefit. The world-exclusive Steam anti-crease function uses steam to smooth out creases in the washing so well that ironing is no longer necessary in most cases. This programme is particularly suitable for shirts, blouses or T-shirts. The Vibration Absorbing System (VAS) makes the washing machine unbelievably quiet.
The Anti-mite programme removes every trace of mites and their allergens, giving allergy-sufferers much greater quality of life. And the full-colour touch display sets new standards for ease of operation, ensuring that the Adora is also gentle on the eye as well.
