Stefan Meier possesses a keen instinct for quality. He knows what's good, but also where to get the best. When it comes to his fish specialities, the 16-point chef insists on going out on Lake Zug in the early morning with the fishermen. Stefan Meier knows the journey his dishes have made from nature to the plate. Every menu has a story that he is able to tell in the Rathauskeller. “These stories make it easier to understand the style of my cooking and they make my dishes authentic,” says Stefan. “The guests suddenly see in my cooking something more than just culinary pleasure.”
