Connect your appliance to the V-ZUG app

Follow these simple steps to connect your appliance to the V-ZUG app:

  1. Activate V-ZUG “Home Mode” on your appliance display.

  2. Install and open the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet.

  3. Create an account and log into the app.

  4. Ensure that you are close to your appliance and have your wi-fi password ready.

  5. Follow the prompts in the app to add your appliance.

  6. Enter the six-digit PIN shown on the appliance.

  7. Configure remote access.

  8. Connect to your wi-fi network.

  9. Enter the displayed appliance passcode to finalise the connection process.

Connecting older models to the V-ZUG app

Even older appliances can be connected to the V-ZUG app, allowing you to access a variety of useful functionalities and features. To connect an older model, all you need to do is manually enter the serial number during the connection process.

Frequently asked questions

Many appliances built from 2015 onwards can be connected to the V-ZUG app. However, you can enter your serial number and add your appliance offline in order to register your warranty or view the manual.

The app runs on Android devices from version 13.0 and iOS devices (Apple) from version 17.0.

Access the user settings of the household appliance and select the V-ZUG-Home function. Depending on the appliance, the V-ZUG-Home mode can be found in the settings or consult the V-ZUG-Home manual for appliance-specific variations.

The 2.4 GHz WLAN penetrates walls and floors better than the 5 GHz WLAN can. V-ZUG therefore uses 2.4 GHz WLAN to ensure an optimum connection to your appliances.

For security reasons, the Bluetooth connection is required for initial pairing and for functions that can only be carried out in the vicinity of the appliance. Therefore it is only active as long as you are in the vicinity of the appliance.

The appliance’s WLAN connection is always active. If remote access is not set up, you must be in the same WLAN network as your mobile phone or tablet. If remote access is set up, you only need an active connection to the internet with your mobile phone or tablet.
