Regenerate

The regeneration function gently reheats food by balancing humidity and heat. Meals emerge perfectly moist or crispy – neither dry nor doughy, restoring their just-prepared quality.

The combination of steam and hot air reheats food gently without drying it out or overcooking it. This function restores the quality of various dishes and ingredients to their freshly cooked state. From yesterday's dinner to day-old bread, meals regain their original texture and flavour.

Prepare meals in advance

Cook meals ahead, then reheat when needed. This function works well for batch cooking, meal prep and reheating pre-cooked food. Some dishes, like curries, stews and sauces, taste better the next day as flavours have had time to develop and deepen.

Do not cover the dish

Unlike microwaves or conventional ovens, covering food is unnecessary when regenerating. In fact, leaving it uncovered is essential for the steam and food to interact. The function adds the right amount of moisture to keep meals tender whilst reheating.Taste and texture remain fresh.

Adjust the heat for perfect texture

Manually set your steamer to 120–130 °C for moist reheating (rice, pasta, stews) or 150–180 °C for crispier dishes (roasted vegetables, breaded items, foods with a crust). If your appliance features RegenerateOmatic, select humid or crispy, and the programme adjusts the time and climate automatically.

Reheat single or multiple servings

Whether reheating a single plate or multiple portions, the results are even on every level, with no special cookware needed. Any ovenproof dish will work. For larger gatherings, reheat directly in the baking dish.

Refresh bread effectively

The added steam rehydrates the crumb while hot air revives the crust, making bread soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. Day-old bread regains its freshly-baked quality. Reheat at 165–170 °C for 8–10 minutes. For frozen bread, increase the time to 20–25 minutes.

Prevent condensation on plates

Condensation can occur on plates, especially with moist dishes. To minimise this, use room-temperature plates rather than cold ones, and avoid overloading them. This helps maintain the presentation of reheated meals.
