Changes for washing machines

Our environmentally friendly washing machines

Our Adora washing machines meet the requirements of the new energy efficiency rating A – years of economical washing thanks to unique technology.

The Adora washing machines, the premium appliances among the washing machines, all achieve energy efficiency class A. Our most ecological washing machine is the AdoraWaschen V6000 with heat pump.

Keeping energy consumption under control with EcoManagement Thanks to the unique heat pump technology, the AdoraWash V6000 automatically minimizes energy consumption in all programmes. EcoManagement displays not only predicted consumption but also actual consumption after every wash cycle.

Maximum energy saving with the eHybrid system The AdoraWash V6000 is equipped with two heating systems: a heat pump, which consumes an extremely small amount of energy, and conventional heating. The actual energy savings can be altered by adjusting the eHybrid level.

One of the most important changes for the washing machine energy label is the change to the test programme on which all label values are based. For example, the energy consumption is based on 100 washing cycles.

The eco 40-60 programme is suitable for cleaning normally soiled textiles made from cotton, linen or mixed fabrics which – according to their fabric care symbol – can be washed at 40 °C or 60 °C together in the same washing cycle. The eco 40-60 programme is the most efficient programme in terms of the combination of energy and water consumption. The Swiss efficiency requirements remain identical to those of the EU. The new minimum requirement for washing machines is efficiency rating G.

1. QR code (if model is also sold in the EU) for further details about the appliance 2. Energy efficiency rating** 3. Weighted energy consumption** in kWh/100 operating cycles 4. Maximum load size (in kg for the eco 40-60 programme) 5. Duration of eco 40-60 programme (washing cycle) 6. Weighted water consumption** per operating cycle in litres (in eco 40-60 programme) 7. Spin efficiency rating** 8. Noise emissions during the spin cycle, expressed in dB(A) re 1 pW, and noise emission rating**

** Values apply to quarter, half and full loads.
