V-ZUG extended warranty. By your side for the long run.

Information about the appliance

10-year guaranteeFor every new V-ZUG product, we provide a two-year statutory guarantee from the date of purchase as well as an eight-year extended commercial guarantee.

What is covered by the warranty?The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects under normal use. Such defects will be rectified free of charge during the warranty period. This applies to labour and transport costs as well as costs for spare parts. V-ZUG may, at its sole discretion, either repair the product, replace it with another product, or, in exceptional cases, refund part of the purchase price. All other claims, including but not limited to claims related to digital offers and services, are excluded.

Where does the warranty apply? The warranty applies exclusively in the country where the V-ZUG product was purchased from an authorised V-ZUG partner and marketed, and where either V-ZUG or an authorised V-ZUG service partner in the respective country provides services. If products are sent to other countries, the technical conditions (e.g. mains voltage, frequency) or the climatic and environmental conditions in the respective country may cause issues. We therefore reserve the right to refuse the warranty for products that are not certified for the respective country.

What is not covered by the warranty? The warranty does not cover damage occurring during transport, handling, storage, and installation of the product carried out contrary to specifications, improper use, insufficient maintenance (e.g. scratches on aesthetic parts such as door glass, hob glass, and enamelled parts), external influences, consequential damage and indirect damage due to a malfunction of the product, force majeure, and causes beyond V-ZUG's control.

If work is carried out by a service provider not authorised by V-ZUG and non-original spare parts from V-ZUG are used, all warranty claims will be void.

Furthermore, the extended commercial warranty period does not apply to the following:

  • Replacement of wear parts such as bulbs, filters, door seals, fuses, etc.

  • Replacement of aesthetic parts such as door glass, hob glass, enamelled parts or similar due to natural, usage-related colour changes.

  • Replacement of accessory parts such as baking trays, wire shelves, food sensors, etc.

The contractual or statutory claims against the product's seller are not affected by this guarantee.
