No, for security reasons, the smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as the V-ZUG appliance. However, you will still receive notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

To connect your appliance wirelessly via WLAN, follow these steps:

• Activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance

• Download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet

• Use the app to connect the appliance to your home network.

Activating the V-ZUG-Home mode is required to connect to the V-ZUG app.

Depending on the appliance, the V-ZUG-Home modus can be found in the settings or consult the V-ZUG-Home manual for appliance specific variations.

To benefit from the advantages of V-ZUG-Home, please download and install the V-ZUG app from the Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone or tablet.

During room air laundry drying, the room air (and therefore the clothes) is dehumidified; to this end, a heat pump is used. The temperature of the air blown out is only slightly above the temperature of the room air. DualDry releases a heat capacity of some 350-400 W into the room during operation. This means that the air blown out in normal operation is 5 - 10°C higher than the room temperature, but it is not electronically heated, which results in very good energy efficiency values. If the DualDry blows out tangibly hot air, this is often caused by a clogged fluff filter. Only when drying in the drum is the laundry dried with heated air.

To display your V-ZUG appliance, activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance. Next, download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet, register or login with your V-ZUG-Home account or social login and connect your appliance in the app.

Please ensure the following conditions are met:

• Ensure the router is switched on and that the smartphone/tablet can access the home network. Check if the WLAN symbol is visible on the smartphone/tablet.

• Is V-ZUG-Home activated on the household appliance?

• Has the V-ZUG app been downloaded?

• Can the app detect the household appliance?

• Is the smartphone/tablet connected to the WLAN (home network)?

• Is Bluetooth activated on the smartphone/tablet?

• Is 'Location' enabled?

• Has the PIN been entered correctly (6 digits)?

• Is the correct WLAN displayed? If not, the device may have poor WiFi reception.

• Has the WLAN password been entered correctly?

The energy saver programme reduces the washing temperature by 5°C, which results in an energy saving of 10%.

According to the measurement in line with the standard, the drying capacity at a maximum room size of 9 m² is 1.34 kg/h and it takes 5h 40min.

The Sprint programme lasts 20 minutes and is suitable for quickly cleaning lightly soiled pre-dinner glasses. The Party programme lasts 11 minutes and is perfect for when an exceptionally large number of dishes need to be washed quickly ready to be used again – for example, a party with many guests. When using the party programme, the dishwasher starts with a 20-minute heating phase, after which the dishwasher can be fully loaded up to five times in a row.

Yes, in principle, body odour can also be removed from fabrics. It should be kept in mind, however, that body odour is produced to help remove bacteria. Since sweat is unique to each individual, the treatment result may differ from person to person. We recommend washing sweaty clothes.

As drying in a room takes place at low temperatures and the laundry in a room can be less efficiently streamed with air, drying laundry in a room can require slightly more energy than when drying in the drum.

Yes, wet clothes can easily be dried again in next to no time using the additional drying programme.

The dishwasher uses sophisticated technology to measure the amount of water which is drained from the dishwasher before flowing back into the water cycle via the drum floor. If little water flows back, the dishwasher recognises that it has a full load. The opposite happens when the dishwasher only has a light load. In this case, a large amount of water flows back into the system and the amount of water is adjusted automatically. This enables the dishwasher to save up to 1.5 litres of water for each main programme selected.

When buying glasses, please check to make sure that they are dishwasher-safe. Also note the information provided by the manufacturer of the glasses or ask the sales personnel. Glasses that are marked as dishwasher-safe can be washed with other crockery in the dishwasher without further thought. Higher temperatures are not a problem for such glasses, as they are manufactured to high standards of quality. As part of the daily use of your glasses, we recommend washing them along with your other crockery and cookware using the automatic programme.

This is what you've been waiting for. The «ultra care» programme dries your delicate items at 55°C in just 90 minutes. A piece of advice: treat your laundry with even more care by giving it ample space in the washing drum.

Our anti-crease programme is yet another highlight of the comprehensive V-ZUG laundry care range. It is designed primarily for blouses, shirts, T-shirts and cotton trousers that are treated for 20 minutes. Put the items on hangers while they are still slightly damp. Iron them lightly if required and they will look as good as new.

Favourites are currently not synchronised between the app and the appliance. We are working on new functionalities that will enable this in the future.

This means that

• favourites on the appliance are not visible in the app.

• favourites from the app are not visible on the appliance.

There can be various reasons for this. The flashing frequency and type provide information about this:

• Slow flashing when the screen is switched on (1s on, 1s off): V-ZUG Home mode is active, but there is no connection to the WLAN. If the appliance has already been claimed and does not reconnect, follow the instructions for "I cannot connect to my appliance."

• Irregular, short flashes: Data is being transferred to the appliance. This is normal and only indicates activity.

• Rapid flashing when the screen is switched on (1/4s on, 1/4s off): Ready for Bluetooth connection, is only active during claiming.

A steamer allows for gentle steam cooking that does not wash out valuable vitamins, minerals and flavours from your food. The unpressurised steaming process operates at temperatures between 30 and 100 °C to enable simple, precision cooking. A smart climate sensor allows the food to be steamed in the best possible conditions, regardless of the amount. The colours are preserved perfectly. Ideal for a healthy and balanced diet.

Yes. In the user settings, modular detergents can be activated by activating the function. This type of detergent is added to the detergent dispenser drawer on the right.

A dishwasher is such a valuable domestic helper that you can hardly imagine life without it. In recent years, dishwasher's water and energy consumption has been significantly reduced. This means that having an appliance clean the dishes is no longer just a time saver. Today, it is also much more economical and better for the environment than doing the dishes by hand. To clean the amount of dishes a ZUG Adora tackles in a single wash cycle, you would consume up to 40 litres of water, while the Adora manages with just 12.

All ovens and steamers have an efficiency rating of A or higher. The higher the comfort level, the better the energy label.

The cooking chamber is heated simultaneously by steam and hot air. The food is heated up or cooked by steaming. This feature is suitable for cooking vegetables, rice, cereal products, pulses and egg dishes, for poaching meat, fish and poultry, for making yoghurt and for sterilising. To keep cleaning to a minimum, it is best to slide the stainless steel tray under the perforated cooking tray and collect the small amount of residual water in it.

The DualDry was implemented in the Adora, as the air throughput was too low for a laundry room in an apartment building. Furthermore, the operating modes cannot run at the same time. If laundry is hanging up in the room and another tenant decides to use the tumble dryer, then this eliminates the possibility of room air laundry drying as the humidity within the room is no longer regulated.

The external steam generator ensures that the only thing that can get into the interior is steam. As steam doesn’t leave limescale residue, you don’t have to worry about this when using the V-ZUG steamer. Cleaning is made so much easier, as there’s no limescale to remove from the interior. What’s more, the water tank for the steamers in the Excellence Line has a perfectly smooth surface, which helps to prevent limescale deposits from forming.

The descale indicator only appears every 6 to 18 months depending on water hardness and level of use. The descale recommendation will not stop you using the appliance – you can continue to use it and choose when you descale it. The automatic descaling programme reduces the effort required to a few simple steps.

Use a magnet to test whether your pans can be used with an induction hob. If the magnet sticks to the base of your pan, you're ready to go, otherwise, the pan will not work with an induction hob.

Certain hobs have a lateral warming zone with temperature monitoring. Induction hobs offer a warming function for the different cooking zones.

In spite of a great number of studies, scientists so far have found no proof that electromagnetic fields pose any environmental or health risks. Like any domestic appliance, induction hobs generate an electromagnetic field. However, the field is many times less powerful than that generated by an electric razor, a hair dryer or a power drill. Ovens with pyrolytic features practically clean themselves: Dirt is converted into ash by the special pyrolytic self-cleaning programme, which heats the cooking chamber to extremely high temperatures. The ash can then be wiped away with a damp cloth. Pyrolytic self-cleaning is available as an option in all appliances in convenience level V4000 or above.

The new control knobs offer intuitive, accessible operation with improved haptic and optional acoustic feedback. Supported by VisionAssist, they enable precise and simple control. Their traditional interaction appeals to many users, and they are available in Black, Platinum, and Pearl for flexible kitchen design integration.

VisionAssist is a feature on the CookTop V2000 and CombiCookTop V2000 that improves usability and makes operation more intuitive. It works together with the physical knobs, which provide haptic and optional acoustic feedback (click stops). VisionAssist offers clear guidance for everyday cooking and is especially helpful for users who rely on acoustic power level information, including visually impaired users.

When planning and installing the FullFlex hob, ensure that the front cabinetry includes a ventilation slit of at least 2 mm to allow proper hot-air exhaust. Detailed requirements can be found in the planning aid.

A model from 1990 required 80 litres of water and used 1.25 kW of electricity. A current model can manage with just 39 litres of water and 0.85 kW of electricity. The amount of water required depends on the level of soiling and the water hardness. AdoraWash washing machines are equipped with EcoManagement. This function shows how much water and energy were used during the last wash cycle. It also displays average values for the last 20 wash cycles.

In rare cases, a V-Upgrade may no longer be visible or may appear unavailable, for example, following an electronics replacement or technical change. If this happens, please contact our service hotline: 0800 850 850. V-ZUG will review the case and assist with restoring the upgrade, provided a valid entitlement exists.

To configure the user settings, select the desired appliance in the app, then click on Settings. A new window will open, displaying the user settings.

We recommend only using durgol swiss steamer for descaling.  Standard descaling solutions are not suitable as they may contain foam-creating additives or not be effective enough. Using a different descaler could cause overfoaming, inadequate descaling or, in extreme cases, damage to the appliance.
