Conventional Warranty Frigo2000Elettrodomestici V-ZUG

Introduction: This warranty is offered by Frigo2000 S.p.a. is to be understood as a Conventional Guarantee and is therefore additional and supplementary to the legal guarantee for which the seller is responsible, and is not intended to limit or exclude the Consumer's rights under the Legislative Decree 206/2005 (here in after also “Consumer Code”).
V-ZUG products are covered by the Legal Guarantee for lack of conformity, as provided for in Chapter I, Title III, Part IV of the Consumer Code, for which the seller is responsible in relation to goods sold in its own points of sale.
Indeed, for a period of two years from the date of purchase, the Consumer may at any time benefit from the Legal Guarantee, which covers any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery, provided that the Consumer reports the lack of conformity within the statutory time limit.
The Conventional Warranty offered by Frigo2000 operates under the conditions set out below.

Rules governing the Conventional Guarantee: 1. Methods and terms for activating the Conventional Guarantee To activate this Conventional Guarantee, it is mandatory to complete the registration online (www.frigo2000.it Guarantee section) within 30 days of the date of purchase; otherwise, 2 (two) years of Conventional Guarantee will apply.
To activate the Conventional Warranty, during registration the Consumer must attach proof of purchase consisting of the receipt or invoice issued by the Retailer, clearly indicating the code of the purchased product. The Consumer, once the Conventional Warranty has been registered via the dedicated web channel, must report the malfunction of the V-ZUG product in writing, on pain of forfeiture, within 5 (five) days from the date on which the event occurred.

2. Duration of the Conventional Warranty The Conventional Warranty lasts 10 years from the date of purchase of the product covered by it.
The purchase date may only be proven by the fiscal receipt or by the purchase invoice issued by the Retailer and clearly indicating the code of the purchased product; for the purpose of obtaining a repair under the Conventional Guarantee, the Retailer must in turn certify that the product was purchased from Frigo2000.
Once the period covered by the Conventional Guarantee has expired, assistance, at the Consumer's discretion, will be carried out by qualified personnel, with the Consumer being charged, in addition to labour costs, the cost of the replaced parts and the technician's call-out charge.
For products used for display purposes and subsequently purchased by the Consumer from the Retailer, the duration of the Conventional Warranty is recognised as 10 (ten) years commencing from the date on which the Retailer purchased the product, for which suitable documentation from Frigo 2000 S.p.a. must be provided.

3. Content of the Commercial Warranty The Commercial Warranty exclusively covers the replacement or repair of the parts comprising the appliance that are recognised as originally defective due to manufacturing defects.
During the period of validity of the Conventional Warranty, if the authorised service centre ascertains that the malfunction is not due to a lack of conformity, the Consumer may be required to reimburse the cost incurred by the technicians for the inspection. Such reimbursement shall amount to a reasonable sum and shall be indicated to the Consumer in advance.
The fact that the Consumer makes use of the Conventional Guarantee by obtaining the repair or replacement of the parts of the appliance recognised as defective does not extend the guarantee period, which will in any case expire 10 (ten) years from the date of purchase of the product.
The Conventional Warranty is valid exclusively for appliances purchased and used in Italy.

4. Exclusions The Conventional Warranty shall not apply in the event of use other than that specifically indicated for the purchased product.
The Conventional Warranty shall, in any case, not apply in the event that the product is used, applied or installed in a non-domestic environment.
Parts subject to normal wear and tear from use (light bulbs, glass parts, plastic parts, seals, etc.) are not covered by the Conventional Warranty and all parts that prove to be defective due to negligence or carelessness in use, incorrect installation or maintenance, failure to carry out periodic maintenance, maintenance carried out by unauthorised personnel, use of non-original spare parts, transport carried out without due care, or, finally, circumstances that, in any case, cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance.
Technical interventions relating to installation and connection to the supply systems are also excluded from the cover provided by the Conventional Warranty, as are all interventions carried out at the Consumer's request for inspection and/or periodic maintenance, or for a demonstration of operation.
Replacement of the appliance and extension of the Conventional Warranty following a fault are excluded.
Any compensation for non-use and/or deterioration of stored goods as a result of a fault is excluded.
The extension of the Contractual Warranty is excluded if the appliance has not been put into operation after purchase. Claims relating to digital products/services are excluded from the Contractual Warranty.

5. Limitations of liability Frigo2000 and V-ZUG accept no liability for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons or property as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions set out in the relevant “instructions”and concerning, in particular, the warnings regarding the installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.
