Can the air flow be changed?
No, the air flow cannot be changed. However, as the air circulation has only a limited impact on the drying, factors such as the size of the room, volume of laundry or how the laundry was hung up are more decisive.
Does the DualDry have an hour timer?
Although the DualDry has time-controlled programmes, they do not need to be used to switch off the appliance automatically. An integrated humidity sensor measures the level of dryness reached and automatically deactivates the DualDry if the desired degree has been reached.
The drying period depends on the following factors:
spinning capacity of the selected washing programme, textile types, laundry volume in the room, room temperature and humidity, placement of the laundry in the room and how it is arranged, hanging habits (“double” over a line, “single” over a line with pegs, “single” over two lines)
How do I recognise a clogged filter in the DualDry?
The appliance reports a fault. A9: Cleaning sieves and mats.
How long does the drying take?
According to the measurement in line with the standard, the drying capacity at a maximum room size of 9 m² is 1.34 kg/h and it takes 5h 40min.

Kan ook zweetgeur uit kledij worden gehaald?
Jazeker. Ook zweetgeuren worden met het programma Opfrissen van de RefreshButler verwijderd. Let op: zweetgeur ontstaat door bacteriën. Omdat zweet per persoon anders is, kan het resultaat per behandeling verschillen. Wij raden daarom aan om bezwete kledij toch eerst te wassen.
Wordt er bij het programma Opfrissen een kunstmatige geur op het textiel aangebracht?
Neen. Door middel van fotokatalyse worden alleen de geuren verwijderd, er worden geen geurstoffen of geurmaskerende stoffen op het textiel aangebracht. U kunt echter wel een kastdeodorant in de RefreshButler plaatsen.
What is the energy consumption like compared to tumble drying or previous room air laundry dryers?
As drying in a room takes place at low temperatures and the laundry in a room can be less efficiently streamed with air, drying laundry in a room can require slightly more energy than when drying in the drum.
Why does the appliance run for so long?
Room air laundry drying takes more time, as the laundry is streamed less efficiently with air and the temperatures during this process are also lower than when drying in the drum. Other factors that slow down the drying process: A lot of laundry in a small room, very damp laundry (of small spinning speed), open doors or windows, humidity that additionally enters the room, clogged front filter mat, items that prevent the release of air, soiled or faulty humidity sensor.
How big may the room be?
The recommended maximum size of the room is 25 m² (50 m³)
How much laundry can be dried?
The nominal load is 1–7 kg for the drying process in the machine. If room air laundry drying is applied, a maximum room size of 25 m² is recommended. The room air laundry dryer has a drying capacity of 1.34 kg/h, which corresponds to about 5 hours for a full laundry load of 7 kg.
Should I choose a vented dryer or a condenser dryer?
It depends: for a vented dryer, you'll need to install an air duct leading outside from where you intend to place the dryer.
Hoe werkt het droogprogramma van de RefreshButler precies?

How does the OptiDos drawer need to be cleaned?
There are two options. In the event of minor soiling, the unique, automatic cleaning programme can be started via the OptiDos settings. It rinses both OptiDos dispensers with water. The second option can be applied when switching from softener to detergent or in the event of strong soiling (e.g. deposited detergent). In doing so, the OptiDos drawer can be easily removed manually without using tools and cleaned by rinsing under the tap. Do not clean the drawer in the dishwasher.
What is the purpose of the normal dry programme?
This programme is designed for homogenous loads - an entire machine full of terry towels or underwear, for example.
What is the purpose to the irondry programme?
Use this programme if you plan to iron your laundry immediately after washing it.
How does the appliance hygiene programme work?
Start it without putting any laundry in the washing machine. The programme heats a small amount of water to approximately 80°C and then treats the inside of the appliance with steam to significantly reduce the number of germs.
Can softener or pre-detergent be added manually via the drawer on the right if OptiDos is used? Do additional settings need to be made?
Yes, the softener can be added separately in the right compartment even if detergent was chosen from the OptiDos drawer. This does not require any additional settings, as the detergent compartment on the right-hand side is rinsed for every wash.
When does it make sense to use washing powder?
Primarily for white laundry. Because only washing powder contains bleach and can therefore better remove stains from fruit, coffee, tea, etc.
What if too much foam forms during the wash?
We recommend checking the dosage setting of the selected OptiDos dispenser and, if necessary, adjusting it in accordance with the currently used agent. Here, we recommend the quantity stated by the manufacturer for 4–5 kg of laundry.
Are additional accessories required to use OptiDos?
No. Both detergent dispensers are supplied with the washing machine and can be immediately filled with the desired liquid agents or softeners.
Does drying take less time if the laundry is well spun?
Indeed, thorough spinning reduces the time and energy required to dry your laundry. Creases caused during spinning will be largely flattened out in the tumble dryer.
Why was the DualDry not also implemented in the V6000?
The DualDry was implemented in accordance with the OptiDos appliance for the V4000. This means that the two new V-ZUG products can be perfectly combined with one another.Furthermore, it is more cost-effective to offer the DualDry with the V4000 than would be possible with the V6000.
Why was the DualDry not also implemented in the Unimatic?
The DualDry was implemented in the Adora, as the air throughput was too low for a laundry room in an apartment building. Furthermore, the operating modes cannot run at the same time. If laundry is hanging up in the room and another tenant decides to use the tumble dryer, then this eliminates the possibility of room air laundry drying as the humidity within the room is no longer regulated.
Does the use of the DualDry with the moisture control programme still have an effect and is it even influenced by the Minergie system?
It is unlikely that the combination of “comfort ventilation (target humidity: 30–50%) and DualDry (target humidity: 50–60%)” would cause problems.
DualDry: why is the moisture control programme restricted to a maximum of 7 days?
This restriction prevents the appliance from being used as a construction dryer. This is not what it is designed for. The running time has an influence on the components and can also be considered a safety issue. A period of 7 days has been defined as once a week is generally considered sufficient for washing and drying.
Welke verschillende soorten koelkasten zijn er?

Can powder-based detergents be used with OptiDos?
No, the two tanks are only for liquid detergent. However, washing with powder is still possible with the AdoraWash V4000 OptiDos, at any time and without technical modification.
Is liquid detergent still the trend or will there be a switch to tabs?
The trend is currently for liquid detergents and is moving away from powder. Tabs are hardly a thing yet when it comes to laundry. Percentages: 68% liquid, 26% powder and 6% caps/tabs (source: Mibelle Group, October 2018)
Why are grease stains or other stains left on the washed laundry?
We recommend checking the dosage setting of the selected OptiDos dispenser and, if necessary, adjusting it in accordance with the currently used agent. Here, we recommend the quantity stated by the manufacturer for 4–5 kg of laundry. The water hardness set may also need to be checked or a powder-based wool detergent (contains bleach) used.
What detergent is the right one for my selected programme?
V-ZUG OptiDos supports the detergent selection with an intuitive, unique selection aid. It uses a symbol to show which detergent from the OptiDos dispenser suits the selected programme best.
Can I continue to use powder and special detergents?
Yes. Thanks to the intuitive, simple programme selection, it is possible to choose whether or not OptiDos should be used for the wash after every programme selection. When selecting “without OptiDos”, the detergent is taken from the right detergent dispenser drawer as usual.

How do I know long the tank content will last?
By pulling out the OptiDos drawer, the load capacity for both dispensers is shown on the touch display and whether or not there is sufficient detergent. Is there anything that may NOT be filled in the OptiDos dispenser?
Yes. Powder detergent, tabs, Javelle water or comparable bleaches may not be filled in the containers.

Waarvoor is de Vakantiefunctie bedoeld?

How does the steam anti-crease programme work?
The steam anti-crease additional programme can be selected with a large number of washing programmes. The integrated heating function gently treats shirts, blouses, skirts and other items with steam generated at the end of the wash cycle. This makes ironing faster and more convenient – and sometimes even removes the need for it altogether.
Is there a special programme for woollens?
Yes, there is. The wool programme has been specially designed to treat woollen fabrics extremely gently during the wash cycle and with a much lower spin speed. This produces fantastic results while putting the wool under as little strain as possible.

Welke soorten kookplaten zijn er beschikbaar?
Zowel de kookplaten met standaardinductie en vaste kookzones als de andere inductiekookplaten uit de collectie zijn uitgerust met bedieningselementen die in het glazen oppervlak zijn ingewerkt. U kunt de ruimte die u op die manier wint, gebruiken voor een extra lade. Koken met inductie is de crème de la crème als u als amateurkok mooie dingen op tafel wilt toveren. Hoe werkt inductiekoken?

De glazen rand bij de opbouwvariant (Facet geslepen) zorgt dan weer voor een elegante uitstraling. Wat voor kookpotten en pannen moet ik gebruiken op inductiekookplaten en zijn die duur?
De bodem van uw kookpot moet ferromagnetisch zijn. Omdat kookplaten op inductie al zeer goed ingeburgerd zijn, is er een ruim aanbod prijsvoordelige pannen te koop op de markt.
Zijn mijn oude kookpotten en pannen geschikt voor inductiekoken?
Om dat te testen moet u een magneet tegen de bodem van de kookpot houden. Als de magneet aan de bodem blijft kleven, dan mag u de kookpot gebruiken op inductieplaten, anders niet.

By continuously monitoring water turbidity, the ZUG Adora can detect when your laundry has been sufficiently rinsed. This has two advantages: your clothes are perfectly rinsed and water consumption is reduced by 30%.
What is the purpose of the degree of soiling button?
This adapts the wash programme to the degree of soiling. This additional function is typical for V-ZUG appliances and helps you save water, time and energy.
What is the purpose of the tilting operating panel?
Your convenience is important to us. Thanks to the articulated design, you can position the operating panel according to your personal preference.
How does the «Tip and go» function work?
You select a main programme by pressing a singlebutton. This means all the required settings are automatically chosen. If desired, you can select additional programmes or functions by pressing the corresponding buttons. If no button is pressed within 20 seconds, the programme selected will start automatically.
How can I save energy and water while doing laundry?
V-ZUG helps you to do this automatically thanks to the partial load water and energy economy function and EcoManagement. The latter shows you in advance whether your choice of programme is going to use large or small amounts of energy and water. The OptiTime delayed start option also helps you to save lots of energy if you have a bit of spare time.
Washing laundry at 20°C is becoming increasingly popular. Do V-ZUG washing machines offer this functionality?
To meet our customer's requirements, our new laundry room appliances now feature a 20°C wash programme that can be selected by pressing a dedicated button.
How long do the LEDs remain lighting if the door is left open?
The lamps go out automatically after 2 minutes, which means that the washing machine can be left open after washing. The Start/Pause/Light button can be used to switch off the light manually. The automatic lighting can also be deactivated in the user settings.
What is the life cycle of the drum lighting LED?
The lifecycle corresponds to the appliance lifecycle. Therefore 4,000 batches / 15 years.
Can the drum lighting LEDs be replaced?
Yes, the drum lighting can be replaced.
Does the AdoraDry V2000 have the same programmes as the Adora TL?
Not quite. The Down thick, Down thin, Bed linen, Outdoor programmes used very rarely by users have not been adopted. Making a clearer distinction between the V2000 and the V4000.
Why does the V6000 model not exist with OptiDos?
Due to the heat pump, it is not possible to implement it in the AdoraWash V6000 due to a lack of space.
How do I explain the use of DualDry in MINERGIE buildings?
If the laundry room or drying room are also to be connected to the comfort ventilation system, the two systems (comfort ventilation and DualDry) will complement each other when drying wet laundry. This means that increased air humidity in the room is reduced (dehumidified) both by the comfort ventilation system and by our dryer. There may be a problem if the target room humidity of the comfort ventilation system is set higher than that of the dryer. This would mean that the comfort ventilation system becomes permanently moist and our dryer would be permanently dehumidified (especially with our moisture control programme). This seems highly unlikely to me, since a laundry room generally calls for a dry climate and the recommended target room humidities of the comfort ventilation system are somewhat lower than ours – see below).
Can water softener be dosed in the OptiDos washing machine? How would this work?
It cannot be dosed.

How do I need to clean the DualDry?
The DualDry is cleaned like an Adora heat pump dryer. This means that the fluff filter should be regularly cleaned and the air inlet flap wiped with a damp cloth. The front insertion can be rinsed under running water.
Why is it so important to clean the dryer's fluff filters on a regular basis?
Blocked fluff filters and filter pads weaken the airflow. This means the laundry takes more time and energy to dry. This is why the fluff filters and filter pads should be cleaned regularly as stated in the operating manual.
How much rope do I need per wash?
40 m of rope per 10 kg of laundry are required.
How high is the laundry hanger installed?
Ideally so that the dry air flow of the DualDry flows directly on the laundry. However, the laundry also dries if the positioning is less ideal. The customer is free to install the hangar as they like. In an apartment building, the washing line is usually at a height of 180 - 190 cm. The washing line should not be lower than the air release flap.
May I use a softener?
Yes. The softener can be used for both drying processes. It is irrelevant whether the laundry is dried in the drum or on a washing line. Deposits of softener on the drum surface are reduced to a minimum by the lower temperatures.

In tegenstelling tot de variant met luchtafvoer moet u bij een afzuigkap met luchtrecirculatie op aanzienlijk minder dingen letten, zeker als uw woning is uitgerust met een vuurhaard met schoorsteen (bijv. verwarmingstoestellen op gas, olie of kolen, doorstroomverwarmers, warmwaterbereiders en open haarden). Een dergelijke afzuigkap is makkelijk in te bouwen en als de afzuigkap in de luchtrecirculatiemodus - met actievekoolfilter - wordt gebruikt, zijn er geen gebruiksbeperkingen. Om de luchtrecirculatiemodus te gebruiken, zijn actievekoolfilters nodig. Zij absorberen onaangename geuren en zorgen voor frisse lucht tijdens het koken.

Wat is OptiLink?
Kookplaten en afzuigkappen die zijn uitgerust met de OptiLink-functie, communiceren via Bluetooth met elkaar. Het afzuigvermogen past zich automatisch aan wat u aan het koken bent aan en schakelt zichzelf ook automatisch uit wanneer u de kookplaat uit zet. Op die manier kunt u zich volledig focussen op het kookgebeuren en hoeft u niet meer aan de afzuiging te denken. Alle modellen uit de reeksen V6000 en V4000 zijn standaard zonder meerprijs met OptiLink uitgerust.
Kan ik mijn bestaande kookfornuis of bakoven vervangen door een (combi-)stoomoven?
In een bestaande nis waar een bakoven van V-ZUG in heeft gestaan, plaatst u het beste een CombairSteamer. CombairSteamers combineren namelijk alle programma's van een volwaardige bakoven met stoomprogramma's. CombairSteamers hebben stoomprogramma's van een stoomoven maar ook de klassieke programma's van een bakoven zoals Hete lucht, Boven-/onderwarmte en Grill. Als u de nis kunt vergroten, kunt u ook opteren voor een klassieke combinatie van een bakoven en een combi-stoomoven van 45 centimeter. Op die manier kunt u twee ovenruimtes gebruiken voor uw gerechten.
Wanneer kies ik best voor een grootvolumemodel?
In het grootvolumemodel kunt u borden met een diameter tot 33 cm kwijt. Dat houdt in dat dit model vooral geschikt is als u vaak veel grote borden, grote wijnglazen of bakplaten in de vaatwasmachine spoelt.
Hoe werkt het programma Automatisch?
Het automatische programma detecteert zelf wat uw vaatwerk nodig heeft. Zo bespaart u tot wel 30 % water, stroom en vaatwaszout. Ook de duur van het programma wordt automatisch geregeld: circa 50 à 85 minuten.

Het programma Stil (Silent) is zo stil dat je het eigenlijk niet hoort. Dit programma is speciaal ontwikkeld om tijdens nachtelijke uren te kunnen draaien: 's nachts mag het programma langer duren, maar het moet wel zo stil mogelijk zijn.
