400 ml Milk
1 Vanilla pod
2 tbsp Cornflour
1 Whole egg
2 Egg yolks
115 g Caster sugar
1 Sheet of puff pastry
Canola spray

Preparation

Mix milk, vanilla seeds, cornflour, eggs and sugar in a saucepan.
Bring mixture to a boil, stirring continuously to ensure that the custard does not burn to the bottom of the pan.
Then pour custard into a bowl, cover surface of custard with cling film to prevent a thick skin from forming, leave to cool in fridge.
Cut the pastry sheet in two, and place one half on top of the other.
Roll pastry, starting on narrow side.
Spray muffin tray with canola spray.
Cut the pastry into 12 even discs and roll out to line muffin tray.
Fill cold mix evenly into the pastry cases.
Place the muffin tray on the wire shelf in the preheated cooking space. Bake (step 3).

Cooking steps

(Pre-)heat cooking space to 190°C with Hot air
Put the food in
Hot air 190°C for 20 Mins
