Between Ca’ d’Oro and the iconic Rialto fish market, overlooking the Grand Canal, a residence that embodies the Venetian spirit takes shape – one that celebrates the city’s history through a contemporary lens. The project explores a harmonious fusion of the elegance of tradition and the purity of minimalist design, inspired by light and water.

The kitchen opens onto the living area, with large windows framing views of the palazzi overlooking the Grand Canal. The intent from the outset was to extend the perception of the interior outward, enhancing the play of light and reflections on the water through mirrors and statement glass doors – materials deeply rooted in Venice’s tradition.

V-ZUG appliances were chosen not only for their advanced technical performance but above all for their refined mirrored surfaces. The CombairSteamer V6000 and VacuDrawer V6000 become true architectural elements that mirror fragments of the house, amplifying natural light and creating ever-shifting reflections that blend with the Venetian landscape.
“Every furnishing element, every finish, is the result of meticulous exploration of the balance between the quiet, intimate dimension of living and the dramatic presence of Venice, whose palaces, changing light, and life on the water become an integral part of the project.” William Lombardo

Furnishing elements and finishes recall the splendour of Venice and its history. This is especially true of marble, which has long defined the city’s architecture and decorative tradition. In the kitchen, the island integrates a CombiCookTop V4000, whose surface reflects the changing light like a body of water.

Hosting is an essential function of the house. Beyond the large living room and the separate area dedicated to the guest bedrooms, the dining room features a generous table lit by suspended Barovier & Toso chandeliers, while the kitchen is equipped with a V-ZUG WineCooler V6000.
