No, for security reasons, the smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as the V-ZUG appliance. However, you will still receive notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

To connect your appliance wirelessly via WLAN, follow these steps:

• Activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance

• Download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet

• Use the app to connect the appliance to your home network.

Activating the V-ZUG-Home mode is required to connect to the V-ZUG app.

Depending on the appliance, the V-ZUG-Home modus can be found in the settings or consult the V-ZUG-Home manual for appliance specific variations.

To benefit from the advantages of V-ZUG-Home, please download and install the V-ZUG app from the Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone or tablet.

The automatic programme is capable of detecting what your dirty dishes need, thereby reducing the consumption of water, electricity and dishwater salt by up to 30%. The programme also works out how long the washing cycle needs to last. This could be anywhere between 50 and 85 minutes.

The following functions can be controlled remotely via the V-ZUG app:

Yes, wet clothes can easily be dried again in next to no time using the additional drying programme.

The Sprint programme lasts 20 minutes and is suitable for quickly cleaning lightly soiled pre-dinner glasses. The Party programme lasts 11 minutes and is perfect for when an exceptionally large number of dishes need to be washed quickly ready to be used again – for example, a party with many guests. When using the party programme, the dishwasher starts with a 20-minute heating phase, after which the dishwasher can be fully loaded up to five times in a row.

There are a number of reasons for unsatisfactory cleaning results. The most common are listed below: - Too many dishes are packed too closely together in the dishwasher, preventing the water jets from the spray nozzles from reaching every part of the dishes and resulting in spray shadows. Spray shadows are surfaces on dishes that have been missed by the water jet and are therefore not cleaned. - The dishwasher's spray arms are blocked, meaning that the water spray pressure is too low for proper cleaning. In this case, you can simply remove the spray arms (see the operating instructions) and clean the nozzles under the tap. - Select the RinsePlus user setting on the dishwasher. RinsePlus increases the amount of water and extends the programme duration.

Specifically designed with night-time usage in mind, the Silent programme emits no noise at all. During the night, the programme can last longer, but needs to be as quiet as possible – which is exactly what the Silent programme offers.

There are two options. In the event of minor soiling, the unique, automatic cleaning programme can be started via the OptiDos settings. It rinses both OptiDos dispensers with water. The second option can be applied when switching from softener to detergent or in the event of strong soiling (e.g. deposited detergent). In doing so, the OptiDos drawer can be easily removed manually without using tools and cleaned by rinsing under the tap. Do not clean the drawer in the dishwasher.

V-ZUG offers the appliance hygiene function in AdoraWash Vx000 washing machines. It appears at regular intervals on the appliance. The programme cleans the drum interior (while it is empty) at the maximum temperature, eliminating any bacteria that might lead to unpleasant odours.

When buying glasses, please check to make sure that they are dishwasher-safe. Also note the information provided by the manufacturer of the glasses or ask the sales personnel. Glasses that are marked as dishwasher-safe can be washed with other crockery in the dishwasher without further thought. Higher temperatures are not a problem for such glasses, as they are manufactured to high standards of quality. As part of the daily use of your glasses, we recommend washing them along with your other crockery and cookware using the automatic programme.

Primarily for white laundry. Because only washing powder contains bleach and can therefore better remove stains from fruit, coffee, tea, etc.

If you often clean ladles, wooden spoons, whisks or long meat knives in the dishwasher, we recommend using our Vario cutlery basket insert. The Vario cutlery basket insert is already included as standard in our SL models, but can also be bought as an optional accessory for our models in the N and S lines. The Vario cutlery basket insert can also be retrofitted to older appliances.

This programme is designed for thick, multi-layered textiles and varying loads. It is less suitable for T-shirts and undergarments as they risk shrinking.

The delayed start function makes it easy to take advantage of low night electricity rates. What's more, the appliance remembers the time it was set to on the previous occasion, and with a mere 42dB(A), our dishwashers know how to keep their noise down. You won't hear a thing.

The «Upper rack» only function makes a ZUG dishwasher even more flexible and will save 2.6 litres of water, depending on the wash programme.

When washing items by hand, around 40 litres of water must be heated up. With V-ZUG's best appliances, this figure is reduced by almost 90 %, with the Adora SL requiring just 5 litres of water.

Fluff consists of fine threads produced by friction during the manufacturing, wearing and washing of textiles. This does not mean that the appliance puts an excessive strain on your laundry. Even with laundry dried on a line, fluff can be observed when you shake or iron it. While the laundry is wet, fluff clings to it. In the tumble dryer, the fluff is separated from the textiles and caught by the fluff filter in the door. The amount of fluff depends on the type of laundry, but finding some fluff in the filter after drying is quite normal.

Yes, absolutely. For optimum cleaning and drying results, we always recommend adding rinse aid to the dishwasher. The amount of rinse aid in the tabs is not sufficient to achieve optimum drying results.

V-ZUG OptiDos supports the detergent selection with an intuitive, unique selection aid. It uses a symbol to show which detergent from the OptiDos dispenser suits the selected programme best.

By pulling out the OptiDos drawer, the load capacity for both dispensers is shown on the touch display and whether or not there is sufficient detergent. If the filing level is low, a notification will automatically appear on the display after the wash (without pulling out the detergent dispenser drawer).

The cooking chamber is heated by steam and hot air. The food is reheated gently without drying it out. This feature is suitable for reheating cooked food or for cooking convenience products and ready meals. Regeneration can be carried out simultaneously on several levels with no flavour transfer.

Fish pans can be used without difficulty on any cooking hob featuring a frying zone.

The AdoraWash and AdorinaWash product ranges are ideal for family homes or flats, while the Unimatic range is designed for communal laundry rooms and small businesses.

A heating element behind the hot air diffuser plate heats up the air inside the cooking chamber, which is circulated evenly. Any moisture escaping from the food is kept to a minimum within the cooking chamber. The food retains its moisture. The feature is suitable for gratins, casseroles, bread and yeast pastries on two levels.

The external steam generator ensures that the only thing that can get into the interior is steam. As steam doesn’t leave limescale residue, you don’t have to worry about this when using the V-ZUG steamer. Cleaning is made so much easier, as there’s no limescale to remove from the interior. What’s more, the water tank for the steamers in the Excellence Line has a perfectly smooth surface, which helps to prevent limescale deposits from forming.

The external steam generator indicates when it should be descaled. This is dependent on water hardness and the level of use. An automated descaling programme will guide you through the simple process.

In spite of a great number of studies, scientists so far have found no proof that electromagnetic fields pose any environmental or health risks. Like any domestic appliance, induction hobs generate an electromagnetic field. However, the field is many times less powerful than that generated by an electric razor, a hair dryer or a power drill. No. If the appliance door reaches its stopping point or encounters resistance, movement is stopped. The appliance door is uncoupled from the drive at a certain angle and can be moved freely. If an appliance door with AutoDoor is stopped manually, you must press the button again or close the appliance door manually to reset it.
