V-ZUG presents Table Rituals at Milan Design Week 2026

For Milan Design Week, V-ZUG presents Table Rituals, an installation conceived by architect and designer Elisa Ossino. The installation places the human at the centre of the kitchen, instead of highlighting state of the art technology. The project proposes a quieter alternative: a seamlessly integrated induction cooktop that visually recedes, allowing everyday life to take the lead.

At the centre of the installation, a long table becomes the spatial and symbolic axis of the scene, functioning simultaneously as surface and gathering point, where daily actions acquire new resonance, where rituals become visible, shared and intuitive. What begins at the table becomes an ongoing invitation to gather.

Within this setting unfolds Mise en Geste, an afternoon choreographic performance by Teatro delle Moire, inspired by the French expression mise en place. Three performers, wearing sculptural garments by Matteo Idini, express how utensils and ingredients turn into extensions of the body.

The kitchen turns into a stage where everyday gestures - slicing, mixing, tasting, and arranging - are slowed into a refined, ryhtmic, poetic ritual. What begins as a shared everyday gesture, so familiar it often escapes our notice, unfolds into a quiet ritual of care and attention.

Part of the installation is V-ZUG’s latest innovation the The CookTop V6000 Integra. It transforms the worktop into a single, continuous mineral surface, which can also be extended beyond the cooking area. The induction underneath is powerful – yet almost invisible. The result is a space that exudes tranquillity and brings pure timeless design to life.

About Elisa Ossino
Elisa Ossino, a Sicilian architect and designer, founded Elisa Ossino Studio in 2006. Her work spans residential and retail interiors, product design, exhibitions, and creative direction. She combines geometric abstraction, monochromes, and surrealist references, creating a unique relationship between space, light, and objects. For V-ZUG, Elisa Ossino designed the brand’s first flagship store in Italy - V-ZUG Studio Milano opened its doors in 2024.
