Changes for dryers

The new classification of our tumble dryers

V-ZUG’s premium tumble dryers deliver powerful, precise drying. They are also particularly gentle, and ensure that your clothes are looked after while being dried perfectly every time.

Intelligent drying with a heat pump and EcoManagement

The Adora tumble dryers offer a range of features designed to support everyday drying needs. Thanks to state-of-the-art heat pump technology and the smart EcoManagement function, they keep a constant eye on energy consumption – including by indicating the projected energy use before the programme starts.

Our premium AdoraDry V6000 and V4000 appliances achieve energy efficiency class B under the new calculation method (78 kWh per 100 cycles), while the AdoraDry V2000 receives an energy label of class C (85 kWh per 100 cycles). The CombiAdoraDry V4000 DualDry has newly been classified in energy efficiency class D (109 kWh per 100 cycles).

One of the most important changes with regard to the energy rating of tumble dryers is the adjustment of the test programme that all of the ratings are based on. The Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) is the determining factor for the classification, and relates to its weighted annual energy consumption and nominal capacity.

The Cotton eco programme is suitable for drying normally wet cotton laundry. The figures for programme duration and energy consumption apply when the drum is filled to maximum capacity and the laundry has been spun at 1,000 rpm.
