10-Year Guarantee
You benefit from a two-year legal guarantee and an eight-year commercial guarantee extension on each new V-ZUG product from the date of purchase.
What is covered?
The guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects, within the scope of domestic use. During the guarantee period, defects are repaired free of charge. Labour and travel costs as well as replacement materials are included in the guarantee. V-ZUG may, at its sole discretion, decide to repair or replace the product with an equivalent product or, in exceptional circumstances, partially refund the purchase price. Any other claims, including but not limited to those relating to digital offers and services, are excluded.
Where is the guarantee valid?
The guarantee is only valid in the country where the V-ZUG product was purchased from an authorised V-ZUG partner and introduced to the market (country) by V-ZUG, and where V-ZUG itself or an authorised V-ZUG service provider offers services in the respective country. If the appliances are shipped to other countries, the technical conditions (e.g. network voltage, frequency) or the climatic and environmental conditions of the country concerned may cause problems. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse the guarantee for appliances that are not certified for the relevant country.
What is not covered?
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by transport, handling, storage or installation of the appliance contrary to specifications, improper use, insufficient maintenance (e.g. scratches on aesthetic parts such as the door glass, hob glass and enamelled parts), external influences, consequential and indirect damage resulting from a malfunction of the appliance, force majeure and reasons beyond the control of V-ZUG. Any intervention carried out by a service provider not authorised by V-ZUG, as well as the use of spare parts other than V-ZUG original parts, voids the guarantee obligations. Furthermore, the following restrictions apply during the extended commercial guarantee:
Replacement of wear parts such as bulbs, filters, door seals, fuses or similar.
Replacement of aesthetic parts such as the door glass, hob glass, enamelled parts or similar due to natural colour changes caused by use.
The replacement of accessories such as baking trays, oven racks, food probes or similar.
Contractual or legal rights against the seller of the product are not affected by this guarantee.
