Warranty Information

2-year warranty The warranty period of V‑ZUG products (except for Three Guarantee products) is generally 2 years, starting from the date of purchase. The validity period of the Three Guarantees products shall be implemented in accordance with the Three Guarantees certificate or national regulations.

Warranty Coverage The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects. During the warranty period, V‑ZUG will deal with all problems related to material and manufacturing defects free of charge, and will not charge any labour, travel and material fees. V‑ZUG may decide whether to repair, replace with the same product, or offer a refund according to the situation. Apart from these, V‑ZUG does not accept other requests from customers.

Valid Region Warranty Service Warranty service is only valid in the country where the electrical appliance is purchased, and where the service is provided by Swiss V‑ZUG or its authorized service providers. If the electrical appliance is shipped to other countries, problems may occur due to differences in the country's technical conditions (such as power supply voltage or frequency) or climate conditions. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse to provide warranty service for electrical appliances sold in other countries without approval.

Exceptions After the product leaves the factory, damage caused by transportation, improper handling or installation, improper use, misuse, improper maintenance, normal use, external influences, force majeure, and other circumstances beyond the control of V‑ZUG are not covered by the warranty.  The consequences caused by services from service providers not authorized by V‑ZUG or the use of non-V‑ZUG original accessories are not covered by the warranty.  Claims against product dealers based on contract or legal provisions are not affected by this warranty.  Warranty extensions cannot be claimed on the grounds that an appliance has not been used or has been idle.

Warranty information for V‑ZUG Care / V‑ZUG Care+

V‑ZUG Care 5 Years Warranty / V‑ZUG Care+ 5 Years Warranty  If you purchase the V‑ZUG Care warranty package for a V‑ZUG product, you will receive 5 years of guarantee from the date of purchase of the product according to the warranty below. If you purchase the V‑ZUG Care+ warranty package for a V‑ZUG product within the first 5 years of product installation, you will receive 5 years of guarantee starting from the V‑ZUG Care+ purchase date. If the V‑ZUG Care warranty package has not been previously purchased for the corresponding V‑ZUG product, the purchase of the V‑ZUG Care+ warranty package is subject to the agreement upon an initial technical description by an authorized V‑ZUG service technician.

What does it cover? The V‑ZUG Care or V‑ZUG Care+ warranties both cover material and manufacturing defects, and include the free repair of such defects during the warranty period. This includes labour and travel costs for service personnel, as well as the cost of replacement materials. V‑ZUG may, at its sole discretion, provide guarantee by means of repair, equivalent replacement, compensation, or purchase price reduction. Under no circumstances are claims outside this scope honoured under this warranty.

In which regions are the V‑ZUG Care and V‑ZUG Care+ warranties applicable? Both the V‑ZUG Care or the V‑ZUG Care+ warranties are valid only in countries where the corresponding V‑ZUG product is licensed and sold by an authorized V‑ZUG dealer, and the conditions are in place for the after-sales service of V-ZUG products by V-ZUG itself or by an after-sales service authorized by V-ZUG in this country. If V‑ZUG products are shipped to countries other than those for which the product was originally licensed, problems or defects may arise due to technical factors (e.g. power supply voltage, frequency, etc.) or due to the climatic and environmental conditions of the country. V‑ZUG therefore reserves the right to refuse the V‑ZUG Care or V‑ZUG Care+ warranty for V‑ZUG products that are not approved in the relevant country.

Are there exceptions? In addition to the exceptions defined in the warranty conditions at [Link], the following limitations also apply:

  • Replacement of consumable parts such as bulbs, filters, door seals, food probes, and fuses.

  • Replacement of unsightly parts such as appliance door glass, stove glass, and enamel due to damage, scratches, and/or colour changes.

  • Replacement of accessories such as baking tray, wire shelf, or fully extending runner/roller runner.

  • Consequent and resulting damages due to malfunction of the device.

Contractual claims and legal demands against dealers or sellers of V‑ZUG products are not affected by the V‑ZUG Care or V‑ZUG Care+ warranty.  Non-use or only minimal use of the V‑ZUG product does not qualify it for an extended warranty.
