Which descaling solutions are suitable?
We recommend only using durgol swiss steamer for descaling. Standard descaling solutions are not suitable as they may contain foam-creating additives or not be effective enough. Using a different descaler could cause overfoaming, inadequate descaling or, in extreme cases, damage to the appliance.
What steps need to be taken if the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period of time?
If you are not going to use the appliance for an extended period of time, empty the water tank and open the appliance door.
Can the start time be programmed?
The programme start can be individually defined via the delayed start. Furthermore, the controls can be automated via the moisture control programme.
Can I receive notifications outside of my in-house network?
Yes, you will receive notifications everywhere, either via a wireless network (WLAN) or mobile Internet.
How are creases reduced?
Applying steam makes the textile fibres smooth, causing creases to unfold. Clothing is smoothed out using a combination of its own weight and a gentle stream of air.
What exactly is a water hardness controller?
The water hardness controller ensures that the water always has the ideal hardness. This makes the detergent more effective and ensures that the dishes and glasses are treated gently.
Can the air flow be changed?
No, the air flow cannot be changed. However, as the air circulation has only a limited impact on the drying, factors such as the size of the room, volume of laundry or how the laundry was hung up are more decisive.
How does the impulse-controlled rinse agent sensor work?
The impulse-controlled rinse agent sensor ensures that only the minimum amount of rinse agent is used, depending on water hardness and load.
How are textiles sanitised?
The additional hygiene programme eliminates germs using an elevated temperature (above 60 °C) over a longer exposure time. Independent laboratory trials have confirmed a reduction in germs of up to 99.99 %.
The drying period depends on the following factors:
spinning capacity of the selected washing programme, textile types, laundry volume in the room, room temperature and humidity, placement of the laundry in the room and how it is arranged, hanging habits (“double” over a line, “single” over a line with pegs, “single” over two lines)
What are the advantages of a cutlery drawer?
Because the cutlery drawer is located at the top of the dishwasher, loading cutlery is ergonomic and puts less strain on your back. The cutlery drawer is designed so that the cutlery does not come into contact with each other, enabling optimal cleaning and protecting your expensive cutlery. Espresso cups can be placed in the central part of the cutlery drawer. Thanks to the cutlery drawer, the cutlery basket in the lower basket is no longer required, leaving more space for plates and other items.
How long does the drying take?
According to the measurement in line with the standard, the drying capacity at a maximum room size of 9 m² is 1.34 kg/h and it takes 5h 40min.
Is an artificial odour applied to the fabric during the refresh programme?
No – the photocatalysis process only removes odours and does not apply odorous or odour-masking substances to the fabric. A cupboard deodoriser can be used to match the scent to your liking.
Why am I not able to start the appliance remotely with the V-ZUG app?
It is currently not possible to start the appliance remotely for security reasons. You must always confirm your selected programmes and recipes on the appliances in order to start them. We are developing ways in which to enable this functionality in the future.
Can rain-soaked clothes also be dried?
Yes, wet clothes can easily be dried again in next to no time using the additional drying programme.
The V-ZUG-Home symbol on my appliance is always lit. What does this mean?
V-ZUG-Home mode is active, and the appliance is connected to the WLAN.
How is the odour removal function in the RefreshButler different to other drying cabinet appliances?
The RefreshButler actually eliminates odorous substances, thereby removing odours with a lasting effect. Other appliances simply mask odorous substances with perfume or odour-masking scents during the refresh programme.
My dishes are still damp when they come out of the dishwasher – what can I do?
- You need to increase the amount of rinse aid in the user settings (ex-works level 4). This will increase the level of rinse agent used in the rinsing process, thereby improving the dryness. - Select the DryPlus user setting on the dishwasher. DryPlus increases the temperature during final rinsing and extends the programme duration.
Why does the V-ZUG app remote access not work equally well with all appliances?
Remote access has been extensively tested and works for all devices that are equipped with it. If problems occur, check whether it is possible to update the appliances software. Local conditions can also make the connection more difficult, such as the location of the appliance.
How does it eliminate germs and bacteria from clothing?
Recurring cycles of steam and special photocatalysis technology remove 99.99 % of germs and bacteria from clothing.
Where are the language settings for the V-ZUG app?
The language settings depend on the setting on your smartphone or tablet. Selecting the region during onboarding has no influence on the language.
To change the language in the app, please set the desired language in your mobile phone or tablet settings.
Do dishwashers also have sprint programmes?
Extremely fast programmes are offered at each convenience level. These programmes last between 11 and 30 minutes depending on the convenience level.
When does the water tank need to be filled or emptied?
We recommend filling the fresh water tank at the start of each programme and emptying both tanks at the end of each programme.The appliance automatically detects and notifies you when the condensation tank is full or the fresh water tank is empty.
How big may the room be?
The recommended maximum size of the room is 25 m² (50 m³)
The V-ZUG-Home symbol on my appliance is flashing. What does this mean?
There can be various reasons for this. The flashing frequency and type provide information about this:
Slow flashing when the screen is switched on (1s on, 1s off): V-ZUG Home mode is active, but there is no connection to the WLAN. If the appliance has already been claimed and does not reconnect, follow the instructions for "I cannot connect to my appliance."
Irregular, short flashes: Data is being transferred to the appliance. This is normal and only indicates activity.
Rapid flashing when the screen is switched on (1/4s on, 1/4s off): Ready for Bluetooth connection, is only active during claiming.
What are the advantages of having a steamer?
A steamer allows for gentle steam cooking that does not wash out valuable vitamins, minerals and flavours from your food. The unpressurised steaming process operates at temperatures between 30 and 100 °C to enable simple, precision cooking. A smart climate sensor allows the food to be steamed in the best possible conditions, regardless of the amount. The colours are preserved perfectly. Ideal for a healthy and balanced diet.
How does the appliance hygiene function stop the build-up of odours?
V-ZUG offers the appliance hygiene function in AdoraWash Vx000 washing machines. It appears at regular intervals on the appliance. The programme cleans the drum interior (while it is empty) at the maximum temperature, eliminating any bacteria that might lead to unpleasant odours.
How do I open the door of an AutoDoor appliance in the event of a power cut?
The appliance door can always be opened by hand. The best way to do this is to hold the top corners of the glass front and open the door by hand.
How does the appliance hygiene programme work?
Start it without putting any laundry in the washing machine. The programme heats a small amount of water to approximately 80°C and then treats the inside of the appliance with steam to significantly reduce the number of germs.
What is the V-ZUG BakeOmatic?
Whether it’s your own creation, something spontaneous or a recipe from a book, everything is fully automated! With the V-ZUG BakeOmatic, there is no need to enter the cooking duration, temperature, operating mode or weight manually. What about the consumption values / energy efficiency of ovens and steamers?
All ovens and steamers have an efficiency rating of A or higher. The higher the comfort level, the better the energy label.
Why is it important to have a selectable temperature range?
A freely selectable temperature range between 30 and 100 °C provides precise control for gentle cooking, helping preserve the texture, flavor, and nutrients of food. You can set the exact temperature needed for delicate foods such as fish, vegetables, custards, or chocolate. It is ideal for proofing dough, fermenting yogurt, reheating, or keeping food warm without drying it out. Fine temperature control also ensures consistent, reliable results for recipes that require precision.
Can organic or soap detergents also be used?
Yes. In the user settings, modular detergents can be activated by activating the function. This type of detergent is added to the detergent dispenser drawer on the right.
How do I use OptiDos from V-ZUG in everyday life?
OptiDos can play a valuable role in your daily routine. You no longer have to think about dosing the detergent. V-ZUG has also made the operation and selection of the correct programme as easy as possible. 3 clicks are sufficient to start the washing machine with the desired programme and automatic dosing.
Can I put the tumble dryer on top of the washing machine if I don’t have much space?
Yes, you can put the tumble dryer either next to or on top of the washing machine. The stacking kits supplied (AdoraWash/AdoraDry) make it safe and easy to install the machines.
How can I save water while doing laundry?
The AdoraWash Vx000 washing machines are equipped with the partial load water and energy economy function as standard. It is completely automatic and checks how much washing is in the drum before the start of every wash cycle, achieving water savings of as much as 60% compared with using the maximum amount of water in the drum.
Can I also connect the washing machine to a hot water supply?
Yes, you can – if you have a solar installation at home, you can use the hot water it generates for the washing machine. This is an optional feature on AdoraWash Vx000 washing machines.
Do I still need an oven if I have a steamer?
V-ZUG steamers make for ideal additional appliances. This means you can always enjoy the benefits of having a steamer: You can prepare a delicious gratin or a piece of meat with automatic soft roasting in the oven, while the steamer handles ingredients such as rice, vegetables or an exquisite dessert. Can an existing cooker or oven be replaced with a steamer?
The CombairSteamer fits best in an existing niche (762 mm) for a standard oven or cooker. These appliances combine a complete oven and steaming functions. CombairSteamers offer all the steaming programmes of a steam cooker and the classic functions of an oven – such as hot air, top/bottom heat and grill. If expanding the niche is possible, we recommend the classic combination of a 45 oven and a 45 CombiSteamer, allowing you to benefit from the flexibility of having two cooking chambers.
How do I achieve perfectly tender meat?
The patented automatic soft roasting mode guarantees automatic, dynamic control over the food probe temperature. The meat becomes tender, stays juicy and is perfectly cooked. Combined with the new three-point food probe, the meat is prepared to perfection at the push of a button – cooking it to exactly the right level so that it can be served when you want.
How does the «Tip and go» function work?
You select a main programme with the press of a single button. This means all the required settings are automatically chosen. If desired, select additional functions by pressing the corresponding buttons. If no button is pressed within 20 seconds, the programme selected will start automatically.
Do I still need to add a rinse aid to the dishwasher if I am using all-in-1 tabs?
Yes, absolutely. For optimum cleaning and drying results, we always recommend adding rinse aid to the dishwasher. The amount of rinse aid in the tabs is not sufficient to achieve optimum drying results.
How does the hot air humid operating mode on the steamer work?
A heating element behind the hot air diffuser plate heats up the air inside the cooking chamber, which is circulated evenly. Any moisture escaping from the food is kept to a minimum within the cooking chamber. The food retains its moisture. The feature is suitable for gratins, casseroles, bread and yeast pastries on two levels.
What detergent is the right one for my selected programme?
V-ZUG OptiDos supports the detergent selection with an intuitive, unique selection aid. It uses a symbol to show which detergent from the OptiDos dispenser suits the selected programme best.
Does the use of the DualDry with the moisture control programme still have an effect and is it even influenced by the Minergie system?
It is unlikely that the combination of “comfort ventilation (target humidity: 30–50%) and DualDry (target humidity: 50–60%)” would cause problems.
DualDry: why is the moisture control programme restricted to a maximum of 7 days?
This restriction prevents the appliance from being used as a construction dryer. This is not what it is designed for. The running time has an influence on the components and can also be considered a safety issue. A period of 7 days has been defined as once a week is generally considered sufficient for washing and drying.
What different types of fridges are available?
There are refrigerators with or without an internal freezer compartment, pure freezers, refrigerator/freezer combinations, and wine coolers. Under-counter refrigerators are fitted underneath worktops in studio apartments or small flats. Conventional refrigerators are integrated into tall cupboards. These are available as fully integrated versions as well as in White or Nero. The real colossus of the refrigerator world comes in the form of the FoodCenter, whose features even include an ice maker for ice cubes, crushed ice or iced water in addition to a gigantic refrigerator compartment. We also offer luxury refrigerators and freezers in the Supreme line, whose sheer space and flexibility make them ideal for stocking up.Are there fridges with an integrated icemaker?
The FoodCenter, CombiCooler Supreme and the Freezer Supreme (appliances in the Supreme line are only available in selected markets) are all equipped with an ice maker, which can dispense ice cubes, crushed ice or iced water. The PowerPlus function offered by almost all induction hobs helps you save time. If, for example, you need to heat up a large quantity of water, you can have a cooking zone work at an increased power level of up to 140%. PowerPlus puts up to 3700 watts at your disposal.How is the correct dosing volume of liquid detergent set?
As standard, we recommend entering the dosing volume of the detergent manufacturer for 4–5 kg of laundry, medium soiling and the local water hardness in the machine. In most cases, the recommended dosing volume of the manufacturer can be found in a table on the rear of the packaging.
What can be filled in the OptiDos dispensers?
The following liquid detergents may be added to each dispenser: Universal detergent, colour detergent, fine detergent, softener, wool detergent, baby detergent, detergent for black clothes, detergent for white clothes, outdoor detergent. The dispensers can be flexibly filled according to personal requirements. Both dispensers with detergent, both dispensers with softener, one dispenser of detergent and one dispenser of softener, only one dispenser used with detergent or softener. The dispensers are also easily emptied if necessary and filled with another agent.
Is there not a risk of burning yourself on the door front?
All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Advanced and Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models. What’s more, active appliance door ventilation also enables lower outer door temperatures for pyrolytic self-cleaning appliances.
What are the advantages of the Electronic Steam System (ESS)?
The advantages are clear – efficient, powerful, finely regulated and fast steam build-up, quick climate change, needs-based consumption of water and energy, water is pumped back into the water tank after the cooking process, and no stagnant water remains in the pipes.
Is there anything in particular to consider when planning to fit a FoodCenter fridge in my kitchen?
You'll need a dedicated water connection to use the FoodCenter's ice cube dispenser.Why aren’t fully extending runners available as accessories for the PowerSteam?
Fully extending runners are not offered because they can affect the microwave field, leading to uneven heating and potentially compromising cooking results. By dispensing with them, we ensure consistently perfect cooking performance.
What must be taken into account when using accessories in a combi-appliance with microwave oven?
Do not use metal accessories such as cooking trays, baking trays or cutlery. These could create sparks. Check before use whether the accessories are microwaveable. Use the perforated plastic cooking tray for PowerSteam.
Why does the PowerSteam not have an energy label?
According to the standard, combined appliances with microwave ovens are not allowed to have energy labels. We have been reprimanded by the European Standards Committee regarding the MSLQ. That is why we have removed the energy-label from both the PowerSteam and the MSLQ. (We would have otherwise achieved the good rating of A+)
What are the different installation options for hobs?
Hobs that are fitted flush with the worktop achieve perfect aesthetic integration and create the impression of compact simplicity. Hobs with a set-off glass frame (bevel-edged) have a very elegant appearance, while chromium steel frames and over-large frames (for replacements) convince by their simplicity of installation and their classic design, they fit in a wide variety of kitchen combinations.What exactly is dynamic circulation cooling?

Are my pans suitable for use with an induction appliance?
Use a magnet to test whether your pans can be used with an induction hob. If the magnet sticks to the base of your pan, you're ready to go, otherwise, the pan will not work with an induction hob.
Why do I need the Indoor Ice System (IDI)?
The IDI is a convenient way of dispensing ice cubes, ice chips and ice water. The sensor-controlled ice cube maker automatically provides the correct amount. The IDI is integrated into the fridge door instead of the freezer, which means you gain 20% of freezer space.Is there a special programme for woollens?
Yes, there is. The wool programme has been specially designed to treat woollen fabrics extremely gently during the wash cycle and with a much lower spin speed. This produces fantastic results while putting the wool under as little strain as possible.
Which colours are available for refrigerator front panels?
The refrigerators can be supplied with White or Nero fronts. It is also possible to attach your own fronting in order to integrate the refrigerator into your kitchen.

What distinguishes the new optional control knobs?
The new knobs are made of high-quality anodized aluminum and come in Black, Platinum, and Pearl. They are durable, offer a premium look, include a prepared interface for easy connection, and can also be retrofitted later.
How does a modern washing machine compare to a 20-year-old model in terms of water consumption?
A model from 1990 required 80 litres of water and used 1.25 kW of electricity. A current model can manage with just 39 litres of water and 0.85 kW of electricity. The amount of water required depends on the level of soiling and the water hardness. AdoraWash washing machines are equipped with EcoManagement. This function shows how much water and energy were used during the last wash cycle. It also displays average values for the last 20 wash cycles.
How long will the LED lights last in my range hood?
Since 2019, all our range hoods have been equipped exclusively with energy-saving LED lights. LEDs have energy-efficient properties plus a long service life.What should I bear in mind when planning and installing an exhaust duct?
The exhaust duct should be as short as possible and have as few bends and curves as possible. Ideally, it should have a diameter of 150 mm. Each additional metre added to the exhaust duct and each additional bend will create resistance, reducing the power of the range hood. A more powerful range hood cannot compensate for a poorly designed exhaust duct. This will only result in increased losses and noise levels. Reducing the diameter of the exhaust duct should be avoided where possible – due to the increased flow rate, this will also lead to increased noise levels.How important is it for the range hood to cover the entire hob surface?
The more the range hood covers the hob, the better the extraction performance. This is why flat pull-out deflector plates perform very well. For wall and island hoods, you should make sure that the majority of the hob is well covered.What is the difference between an extracted air and a recirculation air range hood?
Extracted air range hoods require access to the outdoors. They convey cooking vapours directly outside into the open air via the metal grease filter. In a recirculation air range hood, the air is drawn in, cleaned using an activated charcoal filter and then conveyed back into the kitchen. This option is particularly suitable if there is no way to convey the cooking vapours from the range hood in your kitchen to the outside. Yes it is – the unit can be installed with either an extracted air or a recirculation air solution.Which range hoods are particularly quiet?
The level of noise emitted by a range hood depends on the model and extracted air system chosen. In the case of extracted air range hoods, the following rule applies: the smaller the diameter of the exhaust duct, the louder the appliance. As a result, we recommend using a pipe diameter of 150 mm in extracted air mode.Is it a good idea to install a sound absorber with a wall/island hood or built-in range hood?
Yes, we would definitely recommend installing a sound absorber to reduce the overall noise emissions. In extracted air mode, both the fan noise going outside and the outdoor noise coming inside via the extracted air duct can be reduced. In the case of recirculation mode, the sound absorber is positioned directly on the fan nozzle in the hood flue.What is the purpose of the textile type programme?
The Adora SLQ and Adora SL models automatically select the appropriate wash programme for different types of laundry such as jeans, baby clothes or net curtains. The baby garments programme, for example, ensures that your little one's clothes turn out perfectly hygienically clean. Microbiological tests by the Veritas laboratory have confirmed its effectiveness.
What is the purpose of the hot water and steam nozzle?
The nozzle produces hot water for tea and other hot drinks. It also lets you conveniently froth cold milk for a delicious cappuccino or hot chocolate.
What do I need to consider with regard to the exhaust duct?
If possible, you should make sure that the duct diameter is at least 125 mm and ideally 150 mm. If there is no room for a round pipe, a flat channel with an equivalent cross section may also be used. The use of 90° pipe bends should be kept to a minimum. Narrowing cross sections and reducing pipes with a smooth inner surface should also be avoided. We recommend using short piping lengths, wall boxes with large slats and sufficient replacement air.I have an active V-Upgrade subscription. What happens now?
Customers with an active subscription will also retain access to the corresponding V-Upgrade permanently and free of charge, unless otherwise communicated.

All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Advanced and Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models. What’s more, active appliance door ventilation also enables lower outer door temperatures for pyrolytic self-cleaning appliances.
Why and how often does the RefreshButler need to be descaled?
The appliance automatically detects when descaling is necessary. If the refresh or hygiene programmes are used every 2 days, the following descaling intervals will be necessary: Descaling interval depending on water hardness: ▪ Hard: approx. every 3 months ▪ Medium: approx. every 4 months ▪ Soft: approx. every 7 months
Where can I configure the user settings of the household appliance in the app?
To configure the user settings, select the desired appliance in the app, then click on Settings. A new window will open, displaying the user settings.
How can I display the V-ZUG appliance on a smartphone or tablet?
To display your V-ZUG appliance, activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance. Next, download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet, register or login with your V-ZUG-Home account or social login and connect your appliance in the app.
How exactly does the automatic programme work?
The automatic programme is capable of detecting what your dirty dishes need, thereby reducing the consumption of water, electricity and dishwater salt by up to 30%. The programme also works out how long the washing cycle needs to last. This could be anywhere between 50 and 85 minutes.
Does the DualDry have an hour timer?
Although the DualDry has time-controlled programmes, they do not need to be used to switch off the appliance automatically. An integrated humidity sensor measures the level of dryness reached and automatically deactivates the DualDry if the desired degree has been reached.
