No, for security reasons, the smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as the V-ZUG appliance. However, you will still receive notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

To connect your appliance wirelessly via WLAN, follow these steps:

• Activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance

• Download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet

• Use the app to connect the appliance to your home network.

Activating the V-ZUG-Home mode is required to connect to the V-ZUG app.

Depending on the appliance, the V-ZUG-Home modus can be found in the settings or consult the V-ZUG-Home manual for appliance specific variations.

To benefit from the advantages of V-ZUG-Home, please download and install the V-ZUG app from the Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone or tablet.

Yes, V-ZUG-Home appliances can be integrated into smart home systems. Integration into the DigitalSTROM smart home system is currently possible. For more information, please visit www.digitalstrom.com.

To configure the user settings, select the desired appliance in the app, then click on Settings. A new window will open, displaying the user settings.

Yes, you will receive notifications everywhere, either via a wireless network (WLAN) or mobile Internet.

We recommend only using durgol swiss steamer for descaling.  Standard descaling solutions are not suitable as they may contain foam-creating additives or not be effective enough. Using a different descaler could cause overfoaming, inadequate descaling or, in extreme cases, damage to the appliance.

The appliance has one fluff filter and two filter mats. Since the gentle stream of air and extremely gentle treatment only remove a small amount of fluff from the fabric, the fluff filter only needs to be emptied occasionally. The appliance automatically detects when the fluff filter is heavily clogged. A notification appears in the display when the fluff filter needs cleaning.

The extent to which creases are removed very much depends on the type of fabric, as the fibre types all behave differently. Creases in textiles made from cotton and polyester fabric blends or wool, for instance, can be removed significantly more effectively than those in textiles made from linen, cotton or silk. A superior crease removal effect can also be achieved with cotton shirts labelled as "anti-crease" or "easy-care".

The hygiene programme is designed for particularly sensitive items such as cutting boards and baby bottles.

Although the DualDry has time-controlled programmes, they do not need to be used to switch off the appliance automatically. An integrated humidity sensor measures the level of dryness reached and automatically deactivates the DualDry if the desired degree has been reached.

Yes, the cutlery drawer is designed so that the right-hand external wing can be retracted sideways, meaning that long-stemmed glasses can still be placed in the upper basket below.

According to the measurement in line with the standard, the drying capacity at a maximum room size of 9 m² is 1.34 kg/h and it takes 5h 40min.

DualDry is a combination of tumble dryer and room air laundry dryer.

There can be various reasons for this. The flashing frequency and type provide information about this:

• Slow flashing when the screen is switched on (1s on, 1s off): V-ZUG Home mode is active, but there is no connection to the WLAN. If the appliance has already been claimed and does not reconnect, follow the instructions for "I cannot connect to my appliance."

• Irregular, short flashes: Data is being transferred to the appliance. This is normal and only indicates activity.

• Rapid flashing when the screen is switched on (1/4s on, 1/4s off): Ready for Bluetooth connection, is only active during claiming.

Sprint programmes are suitable for lightly soiled pre-dinner or coffee dishes. Sprint programmes are not suitable for normally or heavily soiled plates/pans and other items. If you use tabs, we recommend that you select the All in 1 function in the user settings. The All in 1 function extends very fast programmes, meaning that the tabs are able to dissolve and achieve their full cleaning effect.

Yes, you can put the tumble dryer either next to or on top of the washing machine. The stacking kits supplied (AdoraWash/AdoraDry) make it safe and easy to install the machines.

Yes, you can –  if you have a solar installation at home, you can use the hot water it generates for the washing machine.  This is an optional feature on AdoraWash Vx000 washing machines.

Thanks to the four included Easy pin extenders, large dishes such as vases, decanters, tall beer glasses or baby bottles are just as safe in the upper rack as in the lower rack.

Part load – the programme adapts to smaller loads. Far less water is consumed, with a saving of between 1 and 6 litres. The programme runtime is reduced by up to 30 minutes.

By pulling out the OptiDos drawer, the load capacity for both dispensers is shown on the touch display and whether or not there is sufficient detergent. If the filing level is low, a notification will automatically appear on the display after the wash (without pulling out the detergent dispenser drawer).

The patented automatic soft roasting mode guarantees automatic, dynamic control over the food probe temperature. The meat becomes tender, stays juicy and is perfectly cooked. The anti-mite programme eradicates mites and allergens – importantly, that includes house dust mite excretions, which are linked to respiratory problems. These unwelcome house guests are incredibly resilient, but they are completely wiped out by the anti-mite programme found in AdoraWash and Unimatic product lines. The results are so good that even technical institutes are sharing them.

Indeed, thorough spinning reduces the time and energy required to dry your laundry. Creases caused during spinning will be largely flattened out in the tumble dryer.

The AdoraWash and AdorinaWash product ranges are ideal for family homes or flats, while the Unimatic range is designed for communal laundry rooms and small businesses.

This restriction prevents the appliance from being used as a construction dryer. This is not what it is designed for. The running time has an influence on the components and can also be considered a safety issue. A period of 7 days has been defined as once a week is generally considered sufficient for washing and drying.

Stainless steel is the only material that can be used for household appliances as it doesn’t rust when it comes into contact with water. All V-ZUG steamers are made with this material.

WetClean heralds the dawn of a new era in the laundry room. Now you can machine-wash even your particularly delicate favourite clothes. Be it your little black dress, your ball gown or a delicate, frilly blouse, as long as your treasured outfits can be washed with water, just put them in the washing machine. Provided, that is, you have an Adora SLQ. ZUG makes a point of using water intelligently as well as economically. We have developed an innovative technology that harnesses the gentle power of water to wash especially delicate garments. The new Adora SLQ features a separate internal water cycle. A special distribution nozzle smoothly soaks the laundry by spraying water over it, a highly gentle cleaning process that amounts to a textile, wellness programme.

Foods with skins or shells, such as potatoes, tomatoes, sausages, and shellfish, should be pricked with a fork before cooking. Eggs should be beaten or scrambled, and for fried eggs, the yolk should be pricked to prevent bursting.

Your convenience is important to us. Thanks to the articulated design, you can position the operating panel according to your personal preference.

The software update improves coil performance, providing faster heating, especially with small pots (Ø 110–150 mm). Operation is now more intuitive, and existing FullFlex appliances can be easily upgraded via the V-ZUG app. The PowerPlus function is now shown directly on the slider next to power level 9, making it quicker and easier to access the highest power.

The lamps go out automatically after 2 minutes, which means that the washing machine can be left open after washing. The Start/Pause/Light button can be used to switch off the light manually. The automatic lighting can also be deactivated in the user settings.

Yes, the drum lighting can be replaced.

If the laundry room or drying room are also to be connected to the comfort ventilation system, the two systems (comfort ventilation and DualDry) will complement each other when drying wet laundry. This means that increased air humidity in the room is reduced (dehumidified) both by the comfort ventilation system and by our dryer. There may be a problem if the target room humidity of the comfort ventilation system is set higher than that of the dryer. This would mean that the comfort ventilation system becomes permanently moist and our dryer would be permanently dehumidified (especially with our moisture control programme). This seems highly unlikely to me, since a laundry room generally calls for a dry climate and the recommended target room humidities of the comfort ventilation system are somewhat lower than ours – see below).

All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Advanced and Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models. What’s more, active appliance door ventilation also enables lower outer door temperatures for pyrolytic self-cleaning appliances.

Customers with an active trial will retain access to the corresponding V-Upgrade permanently and free of charge, unless otherwise communicated.

Thanks to unique sensor technology in the climate control system (CCS) with active ventilation valve, your oven cavity will maintain ideal cooking conditions for your dish. Your steamer or oven will automatically detect the weight and size of the dish and will select the best sequence of the various operating modes with exactly the right temperature and duration. What’s more, you can find out exactly when the dish will be ready just moments after you begin.

The cooking space is heated by heating elements at the top and bottom. This feature is suitable for cakes, biscuits, bread and roasted meat. For a crispy result, we recommend using the dark enamel tray.

Heating is provided by the bottom heating element and allows cake bases to be baked intensively and containers to be sterilised. For a crispy result, we recommend using the dark enamel tray.

A heating element behind the hot air diffuser plate heats up the air inside the cooking chamber, which is circulated evenly. Any moisture escaping from the food is kept to a minimum within the cooking chamber. The food retains its moisture. The feature is suitable for gratins, casseroles, bread and yeast pastries on two levels.

The PizzaPlus programme combines hot air with bottom heat. This allows pizzas, Italian focaccias, quiches and flans to achieve a golden-brown surface and crispy base.

Microwave ovens have many advantages, and even highly popular with demanding professional chefs. Tender vegetables, fish and meat can be cooked using only a small amount of water and without fat or salt. The result: healthy, low calorie meals whose vitamins are perfectly preserved. The food retains its natural colour and aspect as well as its nutrients and taste. You can quickly and gently defrost frozen food and prepare an entire meal in virtually no time at all.
