Long-grain rice

Steamed long-grain rice remains fluffy and retains its grainy structure. Classic dry rice is ideal with Riz Casimir, as the base for rice salad or as an accompaniment to meat and vegetables.

Rice

250 g long-grain rice

375 ml water

¼ tsp salt

Rice

Put the rice into an ovenproof dish along with the water and salt, place it on a wire shelf in the cold cooking space and cook at 100 °C for about 35 minutes using the steam mode.

Steaming 100 °C for 35 Mins

Tips

Flavour the rice with bay leaves, lemon peel or herbs.
