Changes for washing machines

Our Adora washing machines achieve energy efficiency class A on the new scale — the highest class on the EU energy label.

All Adora washing machines achieve energy efficiency class A. The AdoraWaschen V6000 with heat pump has the lowest energy consumption in our range: 37 kWh per 100 cycles in the Eco 40–60 programme.

Keep energy consumption under control with EcoManagement Thanks to its heat pump technology, the AdoraWash V6000 automatically reduces energy requirements in all programmes. EcoManagement displays consumption not only as a forecast but also as the actual consumption after each wash cycle.

Reduce energy consumption with the eHybrid system The AdoraWash V6000 is equipped with two heating systems: a heat pump and a conventional heating element. The higher the selected eHybrid level, the more the appliance relies on the heat pump for heating, and the less energy it consumes.

One of the most important changes for the washing machine energy label is the change to the test programme on which all label values are based. For example, the energy consumption is based on 100 washing cycles.

The eco 40-60 programme is suitable for cleaning normally soiled textiles made from cotton, linen or mixed fabrics which – according to their fabric care symbol – can be washed at 40 °C or 60 °C together in the same washing cycle. The eco 40-60 programme is the most efficient programme in terms of the combination of energy and water consumption. The Swiss efficiency requirements remain identical to those of the EU. The new minimum requirement for washing machines is efficiency rating G.
