Business portal optimizations – orders on individual terms
For several years now, it has been possible to order appliances, spare parts and accessories via the V-ZUG online shop in the business portal – yet with two disadvantages:
additional information such as project contract numbers previously had to be entered manually in a free text field. What’s more, only the list prices were displayed for items in the shopping basket. This is now a thing of the past!
The prices in the shopping basket are now displayed along with their individual terms, and project contract numbers can simply be selected. We’ll explain below how this works:
Automatically calculated discount
After the total costs have been calculated, discounts which generally apply to you as well as any additional discounts will be displayed in percent beside each item as a cumulated discount.
The basic discount will be calculated in each case. The discount may also include any agreed special-offer or tiered volume discounts, provided the necessary criteria have been fulfilled.
IMPORTANT:
- The discount is not shown automatically. This is calculated and becomes visible after actively selecting “Calculate conditions”.
- The precise composition of the discount can be found in the order confirmation.
Additional selectable discount
It is possible to incorporate agreed special terms for the entire order in the first step in the shopping basket.
You can choose from the following types of discounts :
- Project discount: List of all won and valid projects (Dropdown list)
- Partner sales discount: this is displayed as a cumulative discount (basic discount plus partner sales discount)
- No discount: in the event that none of the above-mentioned discounts are desired/pertain to the order
Please note that only one type of discount can be selected in each case.
As was previously the case, the cumulated basic discount can only be combined with one single additional discount. For example, a partner sales discount cannot be combined with a tiered volume or special-offer discount.
If you require further consultation with V-ZUG AG due to a specific order-related situation, please state your request in the free text comment box as before. In this case, the automatically displayed discounts will not be applied.
