The programme is particularly suitable for gratins, casseroles, meat, frozen products, chestnuts, puff and yeast pastry, bread and convenience products on 1 or 2 levels.
How should I clean and empty my steamer after cooking?
After steaming, there will be both condense water in the cooking space and residual water in the internal water system. Once the cooking space has cooled to hand warm, use a soft cloth or sponge to remove condense water and any food particles. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. When the message, "Do not remove the water tank" disappears, the internal water system has emptied and the water tank may be removed, emptied and dried before reinserting. This should be done after a cooking session with steam. For dried-on soiling, the Steam cleaning or Intensive cleaning programmes make cleaning easier.

My dishes are still not clean when they come out of the dishwasher – what can I do?
There are a number of reasons for unsatisfactory cleaning results. The most common are listed below: - Too many dishes are packed too closely together in the dishwasher, preventing the water jets from the spray nozzles from reaching every part of the dishes and resulting in spray shadows. Spray shadows are surfaces on dishes that have been missed by the water jet and are therefore not cleaned. - The dishwasher's spray arms are blocked, meaning that the water spray pressure is too low for proper cleaning. In this case, you can simply remove the spray arms (see the operating instructions) and clean the nozzles under the tap. - Select the RinsePlus user setting on the dishwasher. RinsePlus increases the amount of water and extends the programme duration.
My dishes are still damp when they come out of the dishwasher – what can I do?
- You need to increase the amount of rinse aid in the user settings (ex-works level 4). This will increase the level of rinse agent used in the rinsing process, thereby improving the dryness. - Select the DryPlus user setting on the dishwasher. DryPlus increases the temperature during final rinsing and extends the programme duration.
Do dishwashers also have sprint programmes?
Extremely fast programmes are offered at each convenience level. These programmes last between 11 and 30 minutes depending on the convenience level.
Does the dishwasher have load detection?
The dishwasher uses sophisticated technology to measure the amount of water which is drained from the dishwasher before flowing back into the water cycle via the drum floor. If little water flows back, the dishwasher recognises that it has a full load. The opposite happens when the dishwasher only has a light load. In this case, a large amount of water flows back into the system and the amount of water is adjusted automatically. This enables the dishwasher to save up to 1.5 litres of water for each main programme selected.
I don't always have enough dirty dishes to load the dishwasher completely. What would you recommend?
The «Upper rack» only function makes a ZUG dishwasher even more flexible and will save 2.6 litres of water, depending on the wash programme.
How much water does a dishwasher consume compared to doing the dishes by hand?
A dishwasher is such a valuable domestic helper that you can hardly imagine life without it. In recent years, dishwasher's water and energy consumption has been significantly reduced. This means that having an appliance clean the dishes is no longer just a time saver. Today, it is also much more economical and better for the environment than doing the dishes by hand. To clean the amount of dishes a ZUG Adora tackles in a single wash cycle, you would consume up to 40 litres of water, while the Adora manages with just 12.
Do I still need to add salt to the dishwasher if I am using all-in-1 tabs?
Yes, absolutely! The salt is needed to regenerate the dishwasher's integrated softening unit. The softening unit descales the water that flows through the dishwasher. If the water is not descaled, limescale builds up on the integrated components in the dishwasher. The all-in-1 tabs only soften the water which enters the dishwasher when a programme is selected. This is only partly effective, as each tab contains only a limited amount of salt.
Do I still need to add a rinse aid to the dishwasher if I am using all-in-1 tabs?
Yes, absolutely. For optimum cleaning and drying results, we always recommend adding rinse aid to the dishwasher. The amount of rinse aid in the tabs is not sufficient to achieve optimum drying results.

What kind of design is recommended? Should I choose a framed hob or one that is flush with the worktop?
This is primarily an aesthetic question, but also depends on the kind of worktop you have. Flush hobs are mainly installed with stone worktops. However, make sure that the hob can be accessed from underneath the worktop.
How does induction conserve energy?
Induction is the technology of the future: it is faster and more energy-efficient. One litre of water is brought to the boil in approximately two minutes. This is made possible by smart technology. Induction generates heat exactly where it is needed in the base of the pan. The glass around the heated cooking zone stays virtually cold, so no energy is wasted. An induction stove uses up to 40% less energy compared to other heating methods.

Most residue can be removed using a damp cloth and mild detergent, which reduces the need for harsh cleaning agents and extensive scrubbing.
What actions can I take to prevent undesirable odours?
To make sure the range hood works as effectively as possible, switch it on three to five minutes before you start cooking. This allows an air flow to be established in the room so that vapours and odours can be conducted away quickly. To prevent the build-up of negative pressure and support the extraction of cooking odours, fresh air must be supplied at the same time. As a result, the following rules apply: always open a window when using air extraction solutions. Once you have finished cooking, keep the fan running for another five to ten minutes. Many range hoods have an automatic run-on function for this purpose. In particular, frying pans should be left under the range hood if they are still hot because they can still disperse odours even after you have finished cooking. What is the automatic run-on function?
Hoods with the automatic run-on function extract the remaining cooking vapours from the room for a specific time period (between 5 and 20 minutes) even after you have finished cooking and switched off the range hood. After that point, the range hood is switched off automatically. If the appliance is being used in recirculation mode, the activated charcoal filter can also carry out final drying of the furniture base – just like in range hoods that remove vapours by extracting them downwards (downdraft systems). This useful function is integrated into various range hoods and downdraft systems, and is activated by tapping the clock button shown at the end of the cooking process. How do I open the door of an AutoDoor appliance in the event of a power cut?
The appliance door can always be opened by hand or by using a wooden spoon. The best way to do this is to hold the corners of the glass front and open the door by hand.
What should I bear in mind when planning and installing an exhaust duct?
The exhaust duct should be as short as possible and have as few bends and curves as possible. Ideally, it should have a diameter of 150 mm. Each additional metre added to the exhaust duct and each additional bend will create resistance, reducing the power of the range hood. A more powerful range hood cannot compensate for a poorly designed exhaust duct. This will only result in increased losses and noise levels. Reducing the diameter of the exhaust duct should be avoided where possible – due to the increased flow rate, this will also lead to increased noise levels. What control options does the CookTop V2000 offer?

The most energy-efficient V-ZUG range hoods are in efficiency category A++.How do the hob hood and the hob with integrated range hood work?
Steam and odours rise at a maximum rate of one metre per second. The V-ZUG hob hood or hob with integrated range hood extracts the air using a cross current that is higher than the rising speed of the cooking vapour. As a result, cooking vapours and odours can be effectively extracted straight away at the hob.Does the hob ventilation/hob hood ventilation also work with taller pots?
Cooking vapours can be extracted without any problems in the case of pots up to 20 cm tall. For pots that are over 21 cm tall, we recommend placing the pot lid at an angle in order to direct the steam towards the range hood. What do I need to consider with regard to the exhaust duct?
If possible, you should make sure that the duct diameter is at least 125 mm and ideally 150 mm. If there is no room for a round pipe, a flat channel with an equivalent cross section may also be used. The use of 90° pipe bends should be kept to a minimum. Narrowing cross sections and reducing pipes with a smooth inner surface should also be avoided. We recommend using short piping lengths, wall boxes with large slats and sufficient replacement air.How many hobs can I connect to a range hood via Bluetooth?
