10-year guarantee Each new V-ZUG appliance comes with a two-year guarantee under statutory rights plus an eight-year commercial extended guarantee from the date of purchase.
What is covered? The guarantee covers material and manufacturing defects under normal household use. During the warranty period, these defects will be remedied free of charge. This includes the working hours, call-out charges and parts. V-ZUG may, at its own discretion, choose to repair or replace the appliance with an equivalent product or, in exceptional cases, provide a partial refund of the purchase price. All other forms of claims, including but not limited to claims related to digital offers and services, are excluded.
Where does the guarantee apply?The guarantee is valid only in the country where the appliance was purchased from an authorised V-ZUG partner, and where V-ZUG has marketed the appliance (country), and on the condition that V-ZUG or a V-ZUG authorised service centre provides services in the respective country. If appliances are transferred to other countries, problems may arise due to technical circumstances (e.g. mains voltage, frequency, etc.) or due to climatic or other conditions in the respective country. We therefore reserve the right to reject the guarantee for appliances that are not certified for the respective country.
What is not covered? The guarantee does not cover damage caused by transport, handling, storage, or installation of the appliance in violation of the installation instructions, incorrect or improper use, inadequate maintenance (e.g., scratches on aesthetic parts such as door glass, hob glass, and enamelled parts), external influences, consequential damage and indirect damage resulting from a malfunction of the appliance, force majeure, and reasons beyond V-ZUG's control. In the event of interventions by service centres not recognised by V-ZUG or the use of non-original V-ZUG parts, warranty obligations will no longer apply.
Furthermore, the following limitations apply during the extended commercial guarantee:
Replacement of wear parts such as lamps, filters, door seals, fuses or similar.
Replacement of aesthetic components such as door glass, hob glass, enamelled parts and similar items due to natural colour changes from use.
Replacement of accessories such as baking trays, roasting racks, core temperature probes, and the like.
The contractual or statutory liability of the seller of the appliance remains unaffected by this guarantee.
