No, for security reasons, the smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as the V-ZUG appliance. However, you will still receive notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

To connect your appliance wirelessly via WLAN, follow these steps:

• Activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance

• Download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet

• Use the app to connect the appliance to your home network.

Activating the V-ZUG-Home mode is required to connect to the V-ZUG app.

The appliance automatically detects when descaling is necessary. If the refresh or hygiene programmes are used every 2 days, the following descaling intervals will be necessary: Descaling interval depending on water hardness: ▪ Hard: approx. every 3 months ▪ Medium: approx. every 4 months ▪ Soft: approx. every 7 months

An extra-high model offers space for plates with a diameter of 33cm. This means that an extra-high dishwasher makes sense if you want to use it for large plates, tall wine glasses or baking trays.

Yes, an internet connection is required for full utilisation of V-ZUG-Home and the V-ZUG app.

To configure the user settings, select the desired appliance in the app, then click on Settings. A new window will open, displaying the user settings.

To display your V-ZUG appliance, activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance. Next, download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet, register or login with your V-ZUG-Home account or social login and connect your appliance in the app.

The energy saver programme reduces the washing temperature by 5°C, which results in an energy saving of 10%.

DualDry is a combination of tumble dryer and room air laundry dryer.

The 2.4 GHz WLAN penetrates walls and floors better than the 5 GHz WLAN can. V-ZUG therefore uses 2.4 GHz WLAN to ensure an optimum connection to your appliances.

There may be various reasons for this:

• For security reasons, specific functionality may only be used on the appliance.

• The functionality has not yet been implemented and will be added in a future version.

• For other technical reasons that make it more user friendly to keep the functionality on the appliance.

Many appliances built from 2015 onwards can be connected to the V-ZUG app. However, you can enter your serial number and add your appliance offline in order to register your warranty or view the manual.

V-ZUG-Home mode is active, and the appliance is connected to the WLAN.

The RefreshButler actually eliminates odorous substances, thereby removing odours with a lasting effect. Other appliances simply mask odorous substances with perfume or odour-masking scents during the refresh programme.

It depends: for a vented dryer, you'll need to install an air duct leading outside from where you intend to place the dryer.

Please switch Bluetooth on and off again.

If this does not help, unpair all paired V-ZUG Bluetooth devices in the Bluetooth menu on the mobile phone and try again.

The dishwasher uses sophisticated technology to measure the amount of water which is drained from the dishwasher before flowing back into the water cycle via the drum floor. If little water flows back, the dishwasher recognises that it has a full load. The opposite happens when the dishwasher only has a light load. In this case, a large amount of water flows back into the system and the amount of water is adjusted automatically. This enables the dishwasher to save up to 1.5 litres of water for each main programme selected.

There are two options. In the event of minor soiling, the unique, automatic cleaning programme can be started via the OptiDos settings. It rinses both OptiDos dispensers with water. The second option can be applied when switching from softener to detergent or in the event of strong soiling (e.g. deposited detergent). In doing so, the OptiDos drawer can be easily removed manually without using tools and cleaned by rinsing under the tap. Do not clean the drawer in the dishwasher.

All-in-1 tabs consist of pressed amounts of powder/rinse agent and salt. Because the substances are pressed, they cannot dissolve quickly enough to achieve their full cleaning effect when used in fast programmes. The amounts of rinse aid and salt are also not enough to achieve the best possible cleaning result. This is why it is essential to add additional salt and rinse aid to the dishwasher! V-ZUG's dishwashers are equipped with the All in 1 function, which can be used with tabs of any kind. You can activate this function for any V-ZUG dishwasher via the user settings. With this function, the dishwasher automatically extends the programme duration by a maximum of 10 minutes for very short programmes, and extends the final drying time by a maximum of 15 minutes. This enables the tabs to dissolve and achieve their full cleaning effect. The All in 1 function also automatically adjusts the use of salt and rinse aid, reducing it by 50 %, and guarantees excellent cleaning and drying results every time!

Primarily for white laundry. Because only washing powder contains bleach and can therefore better remove stains from fruit, coffee, tea, etc.

When washing items by hand, around 40 litres of water must be heated up. With V-ZUG's best appliances, this figure is reduced by almost 90 %, with the Adora SL requiring just 5 litres of water.

Yes, absolutely! The salt is needed to regenerate the dishwasher's integrated softening unit. The softening unit descales the water that flows through the dishwasher. If the water is not descaled, limescale builds up on the integrated components in the dishwasher. The all-in-1 tabs only soften the water which enters the dishwasher when a programme is selected. This is only partly effective, as each tab contains only a limited amount of salt.

You can set up our dishwashers for use with hot water. To do this, you will need to select the hot water function in the user settings. The dishwasher will now work in an operating mode adapted for use with hot water.

Yes, you can use the lower basket glass compartment to put wine glasses in the lower basket. The glass compartment can easily be placed in the lower basket and can hold several wine glasses, drinking glasses and cups. You can order the glass compartment as an accessory set from our online shop.

The cooking chamber is heated by steam and hot air. The food is reheated gently without drying it out. This feature is suitable for reheating cooked food or for cooking convenience products and ready meals. Regeneration can be carried out simultaneously on several levels with no flavour transfer.

The PowerPlus function offered by almost all induction hobs helps you save time. If, for example, you need to heat up a large quantity of water, you can have a cooking zone work at an increased power level of up to 140%. PowerPlus puts up to 3700 watts at your disposal.

Certain appliances feature a bottom compartment complete with bottle drawer, which offers vertical storage for many large bottles in a handy removable basket. A bottle rack for horizontal storage is also available in certain models.

No, the two tanks are only for liquid detergent. However, washing with powder is still possible with the AdoraWash V4000 OptiDos, at any time and without technical modification.

As steamers are becoming increasingly popular, we have found that people tend to use fewer pots and pans in their cooking. This is why we have introduced hobs featuring only three cooking zones that are more generously spaced.

We recommend checking the dosage setting of the selected OptiDos dispenser and, if necessary, adjusting it in accordance with the currently used agent. Here, we recommend the quantity stated by the manufacturer for 4–5 kg of laundry. The water hardness set may also need to be checked or a powder-based wool detergent (contains bleach) used.

Yes. Thanks to the intuitive, simple programme selection, it is possible to choose whether or not OptiDos should be used for the wash after every programme selection. When selecting “without OptiDos”, the detergent is taken from the right detergent dispenser drawer as usual.

The external steam generator ensures that the only thing that can get into the interior is steam. As steam doesn’t leave limescale residue, you don’t have to worry about this when using the V-ZUG steamer. Cleaning is made so much easier, as there’s no limescale to remove from the interior. What’s more, the water tank for the steamers in the Excellence Line has a perfectly smooth surface, which helps to prevent limescale deposits from forming.

After steaming, there will be both condense water in the cooking space and residual water in the internal water system. Once the cooking space has cooled to hand warm, use a soft cloth or sponge to remove condense water and any food particles. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. When the message, "Do not remove the water tank" disappears, the internal water system has emptied and the water tank may be removed, emptied and dried before reinserting. This should be done after a cooking session with steam. For dried-on soiling, the Steam cleaning or Intensive cleaning programmes make cleaning easier.

Certain hobs have a lateral warming zone with temperature monitoring. Induction hobs offer a warming function for the different cooking zones.

With appliances featuring separate temperature control, the holiday function can be used to switch off the fridge compartment while the freezer remains in operation. This is recommended to increase energy efficiency when you're away for longer periods of time.

The descale indicator only appears every 6 to 18 months depending on water hardness and level of use. The descale recommendation will not stop you using the appliance – you can continue to use it and choose when you descale it. The automatic descaling programme reduces the effort required to a few simple steps.

The optional fully extending runner allows you to remove up to three baking trays safely and conveniently from the baking chamber. This is particularly practical when basting a piece of meat or for removing biscuits or a flan from the baking tray.

Yes. Hand wash, WetClean and wool programmes are available, and it’s also possible to activate additional functions such as Easy care.

All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Advanced and Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models. Do not use metal accessories such as cooking trays, baking trays or cutlery. These could create sparks. Check before use whether the accessories are microwaveable. Use the perforated plastic cooking tray for PowerSteam.

The nozzle produces hot water for tea and other hot drinks. It also lets you conveniently froth cold milk for a delicious cappuccino or hot chocolate.

The CombiCookTop V2000 is a sleek cooktop with a fully integrated extractor, now also available in 60 cm width. It allows for drawer or storage space directly below the appliance, making kitchen planning more flexible. The grease filter sits in a removable, dishwasher-safe cassette for easy cleaning.
