EasyCook – tips on settings for easy cooking

Not sure which operating mode you should select? EasyCook helps you select the right application. With a wide range of helpful pre-settings for over 250 items of food, you can find the ideal setting at the push of a button. Simply click on the EasyCook tips on settings and select broccoli or potato from the food groups, for instance. The appliance then suggests the best operating mode, including the temperature and duration. You can start all of these settings with one click. Cooking really can be that easy.

Steaming – the operating mode for a modern lifestyle

Maintaining a modern lifestyle isn't just a question of exercising and keeping fit – it's also important to create the right culinary delights in the kitchen. Steaming allows you to eat healthily using a modern style of cooking that doesn't compromise on enjoyment. Unpressurised cooking with steam is the gentlest method for preparing food. Vitamins, minerals, micronutrients, colours and the original taste are largely retained – making steam cookers the best option for cooking in a way that is both balanced and healthy. What's more, you don't have to constantly check on your food. Nothing overcooks, and nothing burns.

Vacuisine – how professional chefs cook

Vacuisine or sous vide is slow cooking at low temperatures (under 100 °C) in vacuum-sealed bags. Our steamer appliances combined with the vacuum drawer allow amateur and professional chefs alike to cook without complications and stress-free. To give you more time with your guests, you can insert the meat into the steam cooker hours in advance and serve it evenly cooked at exactly the right time.

Regeneration – reheating without losing quality

The regeneration programme warms previously cooked meals and ready meals. This means that a meal can be put on the table quickly every day – just as if it had been freshly prepared. The combination of steam and hot air prevents any loss of quality or moisture. You can choose between the regeneration and RegenerateOmatic functions. It is even possible to warm up several meals at the same time on different shelves and without a cover. RegenerateOmatic goes one step further, providing fully automatic reheating and delivering meals as scrumptious as if they had been freshly prepared. The appliance automatically sets the correct time and cooking environment.

Hot air humid – for succulent stews

With the hot air humid application, the moisture of ragouts, stews and ratatouilles remains in the cooking area, preventing the food from drying out.

Hot air with steaming – for even results

The steam cooks the food evenly and more quickly, keeping it crispy. Ideal for puff pastry, yeast pastries, bread, plaited bread and frozen products.

Soft roasting – perfectly cooked meat

Ideal for meat fans: Combined with the 3-point food probe, the soft roasting mode prepares the meat to perfection at the push of a button – cooking it to exactly the right level at the time you wish have it served. The 3-point food probe in the Excellence Line appliances measures the temperature at three points and identifies where the centre of the food is. The desired cooking level is achieved even if the probe is not inserted precisely.

Wellness – for small attentions and relaxation

Warm refreshing towels – or Oshibori as they’re known in Japan – are sure to impress your guests. The Wellness application can be used to heat Oshibori, wraps, wheat bags or stones for hot stone massages. The application requires just a few steps and is available at the touch of a button.

Professional baking – crispy, but not dried out

Bread, rolls and plaited loaves can be achieved at the push of a button using the professional baking application, delivering bakery-level quality. The application provides support right from the process of the dough rising and creates the perfect environment for making the dough ready to bake in the shortest possible time. The combination of hot air and steam keeps the food from drying out while baking and achieves a golden-brown surface. It allows puff pastry dishes to achieve a highly aerated finish. Brioche is guaranteed to rise, achieve a shiny crust and stay fresher for longer.

In the professional baking operating mode, steam and hot air are combined to create four types of application:

  • Traditional – the food achieves a shiny crust, even without an egg wash
  • Floured – for delicate rustic bread with a distinct crust
  • Coated – to prevent the egg yolk from running down the sides and to form a golden-brown crust
  • Leave to rise – allows the dough to rise quickly in the best possible conditions

BakeOmatic – no manual configuration necessary

BakeOmatic is ideal for inexperienced cooks and anyone who doesn’t want to deal with cooking methods and times. In this programme, you simply select the food you want to prepare (fresh aperitif snacks, gratin, bread or a plaited loaf) and the appliance independently selects the suitable operating mode and cooking space climate with the precise temperature and cooking time required. This is made possible by sensors that automatically assess the amount and size of the menu. So you're left with hardly anything to worry about.
The BakeOmatic function is possible thanks to a special sensor system.  
In cooperation with our Electronic Steam System (ESS), it offers the following advantages:

  • Fast and precise adjustment of the environment for excellent results
  • Finely controlled and efficient build-up of steam
  • Minimum necessary consumption of water and energy
