A custom project by Sanitas Troesch, a renowned Swiss specialist in kitchen and bathroom design, combines unexpected colours, shapes, and compositions to create a fully equipped kitchen within a challenging space. Its layout defies convention and rivals larger kitchens, balancing functionality with a desire for connection, inspiration, and enjoyment.

Compact and set beneath a sloping roof, the kitchen departs from neutral tones and conventional layouts and features an island. Deep blue and Indian red fronts, paired with rounded edges, reflect a clear, contemporary design language. Generous windows flood the room with daylight, visually expanding the space.

The rounded edges of the kitchen counter, echoing the room’s curved corners, add a soft note that enhances its cosy atmosphere. An ample work surface and advanced appliances, such as the V-ZUG Combair V2000 and CombiSteamer V6000, inspire cooking and baking while entertaining guests or family members.
«The kitchen is a clear statement by the owners, an expression of style, precision, and comfort». Olivia Stäheli, Sanitas Troesch

CombiSteamer V6000 45

Despite the room’s limited size, the designers opted for a central island with a smooth quartzite countertop and integrated V-ZUG CombiCookTop V2000. Particularly striking is the bar element, made of burgundy linoleum and finished with an oak edge, an elegant contrast to the rest of the cabinetry that combines open and closed storage.
