Food probe and sealing pads – cooking meat to perfection
Are you serious about cooking meat to perfection? Then you will be delighted: Thanks to the special sealing pads, during Vacuisine cooking you can also use the food probe that comes with your combi-steam cooker. The pads make it possible to insert the probe into the meat without loss of vacuum so the food probe temperature can be monitored precisely. You are free to enjoy a relaxing aperitif with your guests while your meat is brought slowly to the desired temperature.
All you have to do is:
- Cut a piece of sealing strip measuring approx. 3 cm and stick it to the clean, dry bag at the point where the meat is thickest.
- Insert the food probe into the meat, through the sealing pad and bag, until the measuring tip is right in the centre of the thickest part of the meat
- Place the food in the cooking space and connect the food probe. Enter the desired food probe temperature.
