ECHO.1 by C.Street is the first multi-residential Passivhaus project in Australia. Passivhaus is a global building standard focused on comfort and energy efficiency, using airtight construction to reduce energy use. These eight, north-facing townhouses, designed by Neil Architecture feature triple glazing, solar power and V-ZUG appliances.

The architecture respects the surrounding heritage charm through solid brickwork and refined metal detailing. Inside, the interiors are quietly intelligent, with thoughtful inclusions enhancing day-to-day comfort, with a kitchen and laundry designed for longevity. V-ZUG appliances are integrated for their energy-efficient credentials but bring aesthetic minimalism and small details that elevate the everyday.
“The energy performance of the appliances is impressive. V-ZUG really considers its environmental impact and has taken great strides in using renewable energy to power its operations.” Kin Seng Choo, Director, C.Street

Each kitchen features V-ZUG’s CombiSteamer V6000, the Combair V6000 Pyrolyse with Profi Pizza mode for extended cooking options, and the FullFlex Cooktop that adapts to any pan placement. While they were chosen for energy performance, the streamlined and minimal appearance is matched by intuitive interfaces and easy-to-use functionality.
