No, for security reasons, your smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as your V-ZUG appliance. But you will still get notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

To connect your appliance wirelessly using wi-fi, follow these steps:

• Activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance

• Download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet

• Use the app to connect the appliance to your home network.

Activating V-ZUG-Home mode is required to connect to the V-ZUG app.

Depending on the appliance, V-ZUG-Home mode may be found in the settings, or you can consult the V-ZUG-Home manual for appliance-specific instructions.

We recommend only using durgol swiss steamer for descaling.  Standard descaling solutions are not suitable as they may contain foam-creating additives or not be effective enough. Using a different descaler could cause overfoaming, inadequate descaling or, in extreme cases, damage to the appliance.

The impulse-controlled rinse agent sensor ensures that only the minimum amount of rinse agent is used, depending on water hardness and load.

To display your V-ZUG appliance, activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance. Next, download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet, register or log in with your V-ZUG-Home account or social login and connect your appliance in the app.

Please ensure the following conditions are met:

• Ensure that the router is switched on and that the smartphone/tablet can access the home network. Check that the wi-fi symbol is visible on the smartphone/tablet.

• Is V-ZUG-Home activated on your household appliance?

• Has the V-ZUG app been downloaded?

• Can the app detect your household appliance?

• Is your smartphone/tablet connected to the wi-fi (home network)?

• Is Bluetooth activated on the smartphone/tablet?

• Is “Location” enabled?

• Has the PIN been entered correctly (6 digits)?

• Is the correct wi-fi network displayed? If not, the device may have poor wi-fi reception.

• Has the wi-fi password been entered correctly?

There may be various reasons for this:

• For security reasons, certain features may only be used on the appliance.

• The feature has not yet been implemented and will be added in a future version.

• For other technical reasons where it is more user friendly to keep the feature on the appliance.

- You need to increase the amount of rinse aid in the user settings (factory-set to level 4). This will increase the level of rinse agent used in the rinsing process, thereby improving the dryness. - Select the DryPlus user setting on the dishwasher. DryPlus increases the temperature during final rinsing and extends the program duration.

When buying glasses, please check to make sure that they are dishwasher-safe. Also note the information provided by the manufacturer of the glasses or ask the sales personnel. Glasses that are marked as dishwasher-safe can be washed with other crockery in the dishwasher without further thought. Higher temperatures are not a problem for such glasses, as they are manufactured to high standards of quality. As part of the daily use of your glasses, we recommend washing them along with your other crockery and cookware using the automatic program.

Yes. In the user settings, modular detergents can be activated by activating the function. This type of detergent is added to the detergent dispenser drawer on the right.

No. If the appliance door reaches its stopping point or encounters resistance, movement is stopped. The appliance door is uncoupled from the drive at a certain angle and can be moved freely. If an appliance door with AutoDoor is stopped manually, you must press the button again or close the appliance door manually to reset it.

The appliance door can always be opened by hand or by using a wooden spoon. The best way to do this is to hold the corners of the glass front and open the door by hand.

This is primarily an aesthetic question, but also depends on the kind of worktop you have. Flush cooktops are mainly installed with stone worktops. However, make sure that the cooktop can be accessed from underneath the worktop.

Have you ever turned your stove on by accident or forgotten to turn off the heat? Now this not a problem any more. Pan detection ensures that the stove generates heat only when a pan is placed on the cooktop. A timer-controlled safety shut-off monitors each cooking zone and turns it off after a certain period. And if you have some aspiring junior chefs in your family, use the childproof lock to prevent accidents.

The cooking chamber is heated by steam and hot air. The food is reheated gently without drying it out. This feature is suitable for reheating cooked food or for cooking convenience products and ready meals. Regeneration can be carried out simultaneously on several levels with no flavour transfer.

As steamers are becoming increasingly popular, we have found that people tend to use fewer pots and pans in their cooking. This is why we have introduced cooktops featuring only three cooking zones that are more generously spaced.

For induction to work, the base of the pan must be ferromagnetic. As induction cooktops are quite popular, there is a broad range of well-priced pans available.

Certain appliances feature a bottom compartment complete with bottle drawer, which offers vertical storage for many large bottles in a handy removable basket. A bottle rack for horizontal storage is also available in certain models.

The external steam generator and the climate sensor ensure that only the required amount of steam can enter the cooking chamber. The steam that condenses on the food accumulates on the base of the cooking chamber as residual water. This residual water depends on the amount of food in the chamber, its temperature and the cooking time. During the cooking process, bottom heating evaporates the residual water. For a normal quantity of vegetables, the residual water on the bottom can usually be removed by wiping with a cloth. Where larger quantities of food, or frozen food, are concerned, the stainless steel tray under the perforated cooking tray helps to collect residual water.

The new Excellence Line steamers and combi-steam cookers can be cleaned with little effort thanks to the stainless-steel cooking chamber. Guided programs remove the dirt automatically. For tough soiling, we have developed a special cleaning solution – the SteamerCleaner.

According to the standard, combined appliances with microwave ovens are not allowed to have energy labels. We have been reprimanded by the European Standards Committee regarding the MSLQ. That is why we have removed the energy label from both the PowerSteam and the MSLQ. (We would have otherwise achieved the good rating of A+)

The CombiCookTop V2000 is a sleek cooktop with a fully integrated extractor, now also available in a 60 cm width. It allows for drawer or storage space directly below the appliance, making kitchen planning more flexible. The grease filter is housed in a removable, dishwasher-safe cassette for easy cleaning. The activated charcoal filter can be lifted out easily, and two filter options are available: a long-life filter, which can be regenerated in the oven up to eight times for a service life of up to three years, helping to reduce maintenance costs; and a standard filter, which is replaced as needed and disposed of with household waste.

The new control knobs offer intuitive, accessible operation with improved tactile and optional acoustic feedback. Supported by VisionAssist, they enable precise and simple control. To make sure the range hood works as effectively as possible, switch it on three to five minutes before you start cooking. This allows an air flow to be established in the room so that vapours and odours can be conducted away quickly. To prevent the build-up of negative pressure and to support the extraction of cooking odours, fresh air must be supplied at the same time. As a result, the following rules apply: always open a window when using air extraction systems. Once you have finished cooking, keep the fan running for another five to ten minutes. Many range hoods have an automatic run-on function for this purpose. In particular, frying pans should be left under the range hood if they are still hot because they can still disperse odours even after you have finished cooking.

The EasyCook function provides you with helpful default settings for over 100 selected foods – so you can cook quickly and with confidence even without a recipe. Simply select the desired food under EasyCook, and the appliance will immediately suggest one or more cooking methods. The selection of foods and recipes can be customised. The “Nutritional style” filter setting can be used to remove foods that are not required at the touch of a button. For example, meat can be deselected if the user is a vegetarian. The “National cuisines” filter, on the other hand, expands the range of dishes to include country-specific recipes and can be quickly adapted to your personal culinary style.

By continuously monitoring water turbidity, the ZUG Adora can detect when your laundry has been sufficiently rinsed. This has two advantages: your clothes are perfectly rinsed and water consumption is reduced by 30%.

Extracted air range hoods require access to the outdoors. They convey cooking vapours directly outside into the open air via the metal grease filter. In a recirculation air range hood, the air is drawn in, cleaned using an activated charcoal filter and then conveyed back into the kitchen. This option is particularly suitable if there is no way to convey the cooking vapours from the range hood in your kitchen to the outside. Virtually all V-ZUG range hoods can be operated with either extracted air or recirculation air.

The PizzaPlus program combines hot air with bottom heat. This is what makes your pizza, quiche or fruit tart base wonderfully crispy.

The level of noise emitted by a range hood depends on the model and extracted air system chosen. In the case of extracted air range hoods, the following rule applies: the smaller the diameter of the exhaust duct, the louder the appliance. As a result, we recommend using a pipe diameter of 150 mm in extracted air mode.

The appliance automatically detects when descaling is necessary. If the refresh or hygiene programs are used every 2 days, the following descaling intervals will be necessary: Descaling interval depending on water hardness: ▪ Hard: approx. every 3 months ▪ Medium: approx. every 4 months ▪ Soft: approx. every 7 months

The DualDry is extremely energy-efficient. In tumble drying mode, it meets the requirements for energy efficiency class A++ and in room air laundry drying, the requirements for energy efficiency class A1.

During room air laundry drying, the room air (and therefore the clothes) is dehumidified; to this end, a heat pump is used. The temperature of the air blown out is only slightly above the temperature of the room air. DualDry releases a heat capacity of some 350-400 W into the room during operation. This means that the air blown out in normal operation is 5 - 10°C higher than the room temperature, but it is not electronically heated, which results in very good energy efficiency values. If the DualDry blows out tangibly hot air, this is often caused by a clogged fluff filter. Only when drying in the drum is the laundry dried with heated air.
