No, for security reasons, your smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as your V-ZUG appliance. But you will still get notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

To connect your appliance wirelessly using wi-fi, follow these steps:

• Activate V-ZUG-Home in the user settings of your household appliance

• Download the V-ZUG app on your smartphone or tablet

• Use the app to connect the appliance to your home network.

Activating V-ZUG-Home mode is required to connect to the V-ZUG app.

To configure the user settings, select the desired appliance in the app, then click on Settings. A new window will open, displaying the user settings.

Yes, you will get notifications wherever you have a wireless network (wi-fi) or mobile internet connection.

No, after successful setup you can use both frequencies. The appliance will remain connected to the 2.4 GHz wi-fi. However, make sure that the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wi-fi are in the same local network, otherwise only remote access is possible. This is the case if both wi-fi networks are running on the same router.

2.4 GHz wi-fi penetrates walls and floors better than 5 GHz wi-fi. V-ZUG therefore uses 2.4 GHz wi-fi to ensure an optimum connection to your appliances.

An extra-high model offers space for plates with a diameter of 33 cm. This means that an extra-high dishwasher makes sense if you want to use it for large plates, tall wine glasses or baking trays.

The automatic program is capable of detecting what your dirty dishes need, thereby reducing the consumption of water, electricity and dishwater salt by up to 30%. The program also works out how long the washing cycle needs to last. This could be anywhere between 50 and 85 minutes.

The water hardness controller ensures that the water always has the ideal hardness. This makes the detergent more effective and ensures that the dishes and glasses are treated gently.

The extent to which creases are removed very much depends on the type of fabric, as the fibre types all behave differently. Creases in textiles made from cotton and polyester fabric blends or wool, for instance, can be removed significantly more effectively than those in textiles made from linen, cotton or silk. A superior crease removal effect can also be achieved with cotton shirts labelled as “anti-crease” or “easy-care”.

The energy saver program reduces the washing temperature by 5°C, which results in an energy saving of 10%.

The language settings depend on the settings on your smartphone or tablet. The region selected during onboarding does not influence the language.

To change the language in the app, please set the desired language in your mobile phone or tablet settings.

Favourites are not currently synchronised between the app and the appliance. We are working on new functionalities that will enable this in the future.

This means that

• favourites on the appliance are not visible in the app.

• favourites from the app are not visible on the appliance.

There can be various reasons for this. The frequency and type of flashing provide information:

• Slow flashing when the screen is switched on (1s on, 1s off): V-ZUG Home mode is active, but there is no wi-fi connection. If the appliance has already been paired and does not reconnect, follow the instructions for “I cannot connect to my appliance.”

• Irregular, short flashes: Data is being transferred to the appliance. This is normal and just indicates activity.

• Rapid flashing when the screen is switched on (1/4s on, 1/4s off): Ready for Bluetooth connection, only active during pairing.

There are a number of reasons for unsatisfactory cleaning results. The most common are listed below: - Too many dishes are packed too closely together in the dishwasher, preventing the water jets from the spray nozzles from reaching every part of the dishes and resulting in spray shadows. Spray shadows are surfaces on dishes that have been missed by the water jet and are therefore not cleaned. - The dishwasher's spray arms are blocked, meaning that the water spray pressure is too low for proper cleaning. In this case, you can simply remove the spray arms (see the operating instructions) and clean the nozzles under the tap. - Select the RinsePlus user setting on the dishwasher. RinsePlus increases the amount of water and extends the program duration.

We recommend filling the fresh water tank at the start of each program and emptying both tanks at the end of each program.The appliance automatically detects and notifies you when the condensation tank is full or the fresh water tank is empty.

DualDry is a combination of tumble dryer and room air laundry dryer.

What’s more, you can find out exactly when the dish will be ready just moments after you begin.

This is what you've been waiting for. The «ultra care» programme dries your delicate items at 55°C in just 90 minutes. A piece of advice: treat your laundry with even more care by giving it ample space in the washing drum.

We recommend checking the dosage setting of the selected OptiDos dispenser and, if necessary, adjusting it in accordance with the currently used agent. Here, we recommend the quantity stated by the manufacturer for 4–5 kg of laundry.

Yes. In the user settings, modular detergents can be activated by activating the function. This type of detergent is added to the detergent dispenser drawer on the right.

The water tank holds one litre of water, which is sufficient for different steaming periods and is dependent on the temperature and the nature of the food. With Vacuisine, it is possible to reach over 48 hours of cooking time without having to refill the water tank. The water tanks in the Excellence Line can be cleaned in a dishwasher.

You select a main programme with the press of a single button. This means all the required settings are automatically chosen. If desired, select additional functions by pressing the corresponding buttons. If no button is pressed within 20 seconds, the programme selected will start automatically.

The external steam generator indicates when it should be descaled. This is dependent on water hardness and the level of use. An automated descaling program will guide you through the simple process.

The descale indicator only appears every 6 to 18 months depending on water hardness and level of use. The descale recommendation will not stop you using the appliance – you can continue to use it and choose when you descale it. The automatic descaling program reduces the effort required to a few simple steps.

Yes, you can use the lower basket glass compartment to put wine glasses in the lower basket. The glass compartment can easily be placed in the lower basket and can hold several wine glasses, drinking glasses and cups. You can order the glass compartment as an accessory set from our online shop.

We have chosen to dispense with fully extending runners to maintain our high standards with regard to perfect cooking results. These alter the microwave field significantly and result in localised changes to the heating of the food.

According to the standard, combined appliances with microwave ovens are not allowed to have energy labels. We have been reprimanded by the European Standards Committee regarding the MSLQ. That is why we have removed the energy label from both the PowerSteam and the MSLQ. (We would have otherwise achieved the good rating of A+)

The CombiCookTop V2000 is a sleek cooktop with a fully integrated extractor, now also available in a 60 cm width. It allows for drawer or storage space directly below the appliance, making kitchen planning more flexible. The grease filter is housed in a removable, dishwasher-safe cassette for easy cleaning. Make sure the cooking zones are generously spaced so the pans don’t touch. We would recommend a cooktop with cooking zones in a V- or A-shaped alignment. You might also consider a panorama cooktop, where the cooking zones are positioned in a single line for easy access.

With appliances featuring separate temperature control, the holiday function can be used to switch off the fridge compartment while the freezer remains in operation. This is recommended to increase energy efficiency when you’re away for longer periods of time.

Slight soiling can be removed with a smooth cloth and a little detergent. To tackle heavy dirt, apply glass ceramic cleaning agent with a sponge, leave it on for a few minutes and then remove it with a cloth. Encrusted dirt can be removed with a cooktop scraper.

The appliance door can always be opened by hand or by using a wooden spoon. The best way to do this is to hold the corners of the glass front and open the door by hand.

All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models.
