How does a modern washing machine compare to a 20-year-old model in terms of water consumption?
A model from 1990 required 80 litres of water and used 1.25 kW of electricity. A current model can manage with just 39 litres of water and 0.85 kW of electricity. By ventilating, a lot of heating energy is lost in winter, which increases heating costs. DualDry removes the humidity from the air. This means that ventilation is required less frequently. Furthermore, the laundry can also be dried in rooms without windows, meaning an extra room is not required.
What is the energy consumption like compared to tumble drying or previous room air laundry dryers?
As drying in a room takes place at low temperatures and the laundry in a room can be less efficiently streamed with air, drying laundry in a room can require slightly more energy than when drying in the drum.
Why does the appliance run for so long?

Is it normal for tumble dryers to generate fluff?
Fluff consists of fine threads produced by friction during the manufacturing, wearing and washing of textiles. This does not mean that the appliance puts an excessive strain on your laundry. Even with laundry dried on a line, fluff can be observed when you shake or iron it. While the laundry is wet, fluff clings to it. In the tumble dryer, the fluff is separated from the textiles and caught by the fluff filter in the door. The amount of fluff depends on the type of laundry, but finding some fluff in the filter after drying is quite normal.
Does drying take less time if the laundry is well spun?
Indeed, thorough spinning reduces the time and energy required to dry your laundry. Creases caused during spinning will be largely flattened out in the tumble dryer.
Why was the DualDry not also implemented in the V6000?

This restriction prevents the appliance from being used as a construction dryer. This is not what it is designed for. The running time has an influence on the components and can also be considered a safety issue. Omdat de besteklade zich aan de bovenkant van de machine bevindt, kunt u het bestek ergonomisch in en uit de machine halen, wat veel beter is voor uw rug. De besteklade is zodanig ontworpen dat de bestekdelen elkaar niet raken. Zo wordt alles heel mooi proper en worden krassen vermeden. In het midden van de besteklade passen zelfs espressokopjes. Als u kiest voor een vaatwasmachine met besteklade, hebt u onderaan geen bestekmand meer nodig en houdt u meer plaats over voor borden.
Kan ik in de bovenste lade glazen op een lange steel kwijt in een vaatwasmachine met besteklade?

Wat is het verschil tussen het Party- en het Sprint-programma?
Het Sprint-programma duurt 20 minuten en is geschikt voor licht vervuilde aperitiefschaaltjes. Het Party-programma duurt 11 minuten en is vooral handig wanneer u veel vaatwerk snel in één keer wilt spoelen omdat u het meteen weer nodig hebt, bijvoorbeeld voor een feestje met veel gasten. Het Party-programma werkt zo: eerst gaat de vaatwasmachine in een 20 minuten durende opwarmfase, daarna kunt u de machine tot vijf keer na elkaar volledig vol laden.
Mijn vaatwerk komt vuil uit de vaatwasmachine. Wat kan ik daaraan doen?
Een minderwaardig spoelresultaat kan verschillende redenen hebben. Wij sommen hieronder de meest voorkomende oorzaken op: - Er zat te veel vaatwerk in de machine, waardoor het veel te dicht tegen elkaar stond. Hierdoor kon de waterstraal van de sproeiers niet tot bij elk stuk komen en waren er stukken die dus geen sproeiwater gezien hebben en dus niet gespoeld zijn. - De sproeiarmen van uw vaatwasmachine zijn verstopt. Bijgevolg is de druk van de waterstraal te laag voor een grondige reiniging. U kunt de sproeiarmen eenvoudig demonteren (zie de gebruikershandleiding) en onder de kraan schoonmaken. Eventueel kunt u de instelling SpoelenPlus selecteren. Deze functie verhoogt de hoeveelheid water die in de machine stroomt en verlengt de duur van het programma.
Mijn vaatwerk komt nog vochtig uit de vaatwasmachine. Wat kan ik daaraan doen?
- Verhoog in de gebruikersinstellingen de glansmiddeldosering (is default ingesteld op niveau 4 ). Door meer glansmiddel toe te voegen, zal het droogresultaat verbeteren. - Of selecteer het programma DrogenPlus. Dan wordt de temperatuur voor het glansspoelen verhoogd en de programmaduur verlengd.
Bestaat er een programma dat heel stil werkt?
Het programma Stil (Silent) is zo stil dat je het eigenlijk niet hoort. Dit programma is speciaal ontwikkeld om tijdens nachtelijke uren te kunnen draaien: 's nachts mag het programma langer duren, maar het moet wel zo stil mogelijk zijn.
Hebben de vaatwasmachines van V-ZUG ook supersnelle programma's?
Jazeker, op elk comfortniveau is er een vaatwasmachine met een uiterst snel programma beschikbaar: het Sprint-programma. Dit programma duurt 11 à 30 minuten, afhankelijk van het comfortniveau.
Waar moet ik op letten bij de korte programma's?
Korte programma's zoals het Sprint-programma zijn geschikt voor licht vervuilde aperitiefglaasjes en koffieservies. Ze zijn niet geschikt voor normaal tot sterk vervuilde borden en pannen. Als u vaatwastabletten gebruikt, raden wij u aan om de functie All-in-One te selecteren. Hiermee worden zeer snelle programma's verlengd, zodat de tabletten meer tijd krijgen om op te lossen en hun volledige reinigende werking te ontplooien.
Heeft de vaatwasmachine een ladingsdetectiesysteem?
Dankzij een uitgekiende techniek meet de vaatwasmachine hoeveel water er van het vaatwerk drupt en via de bodem weer in het watercircuit stroomt. Als er weinig water terugstroomt, weet de vaatwasmachine dat er veel vaatwerk in zit. Als er daarentegen veel water terugstroomt - en de machine dus niet veel vaatwerk bevat - dan wordt het watervolume automatisch aangepast. De vaatwasmachine bespaart zo tot wel 1,5 liter water al naargelang het geselecteerde basisprogramma.
Kan ik drink- en wijnglazen samen met ander kook- en eetgerei in de vaatwasmachine steken?
Ja, dat kan, maar let erop dat de glazen vaatwasmachinebestendig zijn. Raadpleeg hiervoor de info van de fabrikant of vraag het na bij de glasverkoper. Vaatwasmachinebestendige glazen kunnen probleemloos samen met ander kookgerei worden gespoeld. Hogere temperaturen zijn voor dit soort glazen geen probleem, omdat ze van zeer goede kwaliteit zijn. Bij de modellen uit de SL Line is dit standaard voorzien, bij de modellen N en S kunt u dit als accessoire kopen. Ook in oudere apparaten kan een Vario-bestekhouder worden geplaatst.
Ik wil graag met vaatwastabletten werken. Waar moet ik op letten?
All-in-one-tabs bestaan uit een geperst mengsel van poeder, glansmiddel en zout. Omdat de bestanddelen in geperste vorm vrijkomen, lossen de stoffen bij snelle programma's niet snel genoeg op om 100% efficiënt te zijn. Bovendien volstaat het gehalte glansmiddel en zout niet om een optimaal spoelresultaat te verkrijgen. Daarom moet u absoluut extra zout en glansmiddel toevoegen. Ongeacht welke tabletten u gebruikt, moet u de functie All-in-one op onze vaatwasmachines selecteren in de gebruikersinstellingen. Allen dan verlengt de vaatwasmachine automatisch de duur van het programma (max. 10 minuten extra bij heel korte programma's en max. 15 minuten extra nadroogtijd). Op die manier krijgen de tabletten voldoende tijd om op te lossen en hun reinigende werking optimaal te benutten. Dankzij de All-in-one-functie wordt het verbruik van glansmiddel en zout automatisch met 50% teruggedrongen. En met deze functie bent u altijd zeker van een goed spoel- en droogresultaat.
Hoe kan ik ervoor zorgen dat vazen en karaffen stevig staan?
Dankzij de vier meegeleverde Easy-pennen kunt u grotere voorwerpen zoals vazen, karaffen, hoge bierglazen of zuigflessen zowel in de bovenste als de onderste lade stabiel laten spoelen.
Ik wil graag mijn vaatwasmachine in het daltarief laten draaien. Kan ik mijn vaatwasmachine ook 's nachts laten draaien?
Dankzij de functie Uitgestelde start kunt u het toestel tijdens de nacht laten spoelen. Er wordt u eerst de laatst geprogrammeerde tijd voorgesteld. Omdat de machines muisstil zijn met hun 42 dB(A), hoort u ze ’s nachts niet draaien.
Ik heb niet altijd voldoende vuil vaatwerk om mijn vaatwasmachine volledig te vullen. Wat kan ik in dat geval doen?

Hoeveel water verbruikt een vaatwasmachine en hoeveel zou ik verbruiken als ik het met de hand afwas?
Een vaatwasmachine is zo’n waardevol huishoudhulpje geworden dat we ons nog moeilijk een leven zonder kunnen voorstellen. En de laatste jaren zijn vaatwasmachines zo zuinig in water- en energieverbruik geworden dat ze u niet enkel tijd besparen, ze zijn ook goedkoper en milieuvriendelijker geworden dan de vaat met de hand doen. Om een volle vaatwasmachine met de hand af te wassen, zou u tot 40 liter water nodig hebben, maar uw Adora-vaatwasmachine verbruikt slechts 12 liter.
Moet ik nog zout aan de vaatwasmachine toevoegen als ik All-in-one-tabletten gebruik?
Ja! Het zout wordt gebruikt om het onthardingssysteem van de vaatwasmachine te regenereren. Dit onthardingssysteem ontkalkt het water dat door de machine stroomt. Als dat water niet ontkalkt wordt, zal er zich op de machineonderdelen kalk afzetten. De All-in-one-tabletten ontharden alleen het water dat bij de start van een programma in de machine stroomt - en dit slechts in beperkte mate -, want de hoeveelheid zout per tablet is beperkt.
Moet ik nog glansmiddel aan de vaatwasmachine toevoegen als ik All-in-one-tabletten gebruik?
Ja! Voor een optimaal reinigings- en droogresultaat raden wij aan om glansmiddel toe te voegen. De hoeveelheid glansmiddel per tablet volstaat niet voor een optimale droging.
Kan ik de vaatwasmachine aansluiten op het warm water?
U kunt de vaatwasmachines van V-ZUG zodanig instellen dat ze een warmwateraanvoer hebben. Selecteer daarvoor in de gebruikersinstellingen de functie Warm water. De vaatwasmachine werkt nu in een aparte modus, speciaal voor warm water.
