The AdoraWash and AdorinaWash product ranges are ideal for family homes or flats, while the Unimatic range is designed for communal laundry rooms and small businesses.

We recommend only using durgol swiss steamer for descaling.  Standard descaling solutions are not suitable as they may contain foam-creating additives or not be effective enough. Using a different descaler could cause overfoaming, inadequate descaling or, in extreme cases, damage to the appliance.

You can use the delayed start function to set your electricity provider’s off-peak rate times up to 24 hours in advance and use the machine during those times. The current range of AdoraWash washing machines also features the intelligent OptiTime delayed start function. If you use OptiTime at night, for example, and combine it with off-peak electricity rates, you can make energy savings of up to 63% per wash cycle.

The extent to which creases are removed very much depends on the type of fabric, as the fibre types all behave differently. Creases in textiles made from cotton and polyester fabric blends or wool, for instance, can be removed significantly more effectively than those in textiles made from linen, cotton or silk. A superior crease removal effect can also be achieved with cotton shirts labelled as “anti-crease” or “easy-care”.

AdoraWash and Unimatic washing machines need the bare minimum of electricity for the standby function, which helps to reduce household electricity consumption.

WetClean heralds the dawn of a new era in the laundry room. Now you can machine-wash even your particularly delicate favourite clothes. Be it your little black dress, your ball gown or a delicate, frilly blouse, as long as your treasured outfits can be washed with water, just put them in the washing machine. Provided, that is, you have an Adora SLQ. ZUG makes a point of using water intelligently as well as economically. We have developed an innovative technology that harnesses the gentle power of water to wash especially delicate garments. The new Adora SLQ features a separate internal water cycle. A special distribution nozzle smoothly soaks the laundry by spraying water over it, a highly gentle cleaning process that amounts to a textile wellness program.

The exhaust duct should be as short as possible and have as few bends and curves as possible. Ideally, it should have a diameter of 150 mm. Each additional metre added to the exhaust duct and each additional bend will create resistance, reducing the power of the range hood. A more powerful range hood cannot compensate for a poorly designed exhaust duct. This will only result in increased losses and noise levels. Reducing the diameter of the exhaust duct should be avoided where possible – due to the increased flow rate, this will also lead to increased noise levels.

Extracted air range hoods require access to the outdoors. They convey cooking vapours directly outside into the open air via the metal grease filter. In a recirculation air range hood, the air is drawn in, cleaned using an activated charcoal filter and then conveyed back into the kitchen. This option is particularly suitable if there is no way to convey the cooking vapours from the range hood in your kitchen to the outside. Virtually all V-ZUG range hoods can be operated with either extracted air or recirculation air.

Your convenience is important to us. Thanks to the articulated design, you can position the operating panel according to your personal preference.

V-ZUG helps you to do this automatically thanks to the partial load water and energy economy function and EcoManagement. The latter shows you in advance whether your choice of program is going to use large or small amounts of energy and water.  The OptiTime delayed start option also helps you to save lots of energy if you have a bit of spare time.

This programme is designed for homogenous loads - an entire machine full of terry towels or underwear, for example.

Compared with the extracted air solution, there is much less to consider for range hoods with recirculation air, particularly if you have flue-based heating (such as gas, oil or coal-fired heaters, flow heaters, water heaters and open fireplaces). They are easy to install and they can be operated without restrictions if the range hood is used in recirculation mode with an activated charcoal filter. To use recirculation mode, you must provide an activated charcoal filter – the filter absorbs unpleasant odours and ensures there is fresh air in the kitchen while you are cooking.

We recommend checking the dosage setting of the selected OptiDos dispenser and, if necessary, adjusting it in accordance with the currently used agent. Here, we recommend the quantity stated by the manufacturer for 4–5 kg of laundry.

If the laundry room or drying room are also to be connected to the comfort ventilation system, the two systems (comfort ventilation and DualDry) will complement each other when drying wet laundry. This means that increased air humidity in the room is reduced (dehumidified) both by the comfort ventilation system and by our dryer. There may be a problem if the target room humidity of the comfort ventilation system is set higher than that of the dryer. This would mean that the comfort ventilation system becomes permanently moist and our dryer would be permanently dehumidified (especially with our moisture control program). This seems highly unlikely, since a laundry room generally calls for a dry climate and the recommended target room humidities of the comfort ventilation system are somewhat lower than ours (see below).

Yes, you can put the tumble dryer either next to or on top of the washing machine. The stacking kits supplied (AdoraWash/AdoraDry) make it safe and easy to install the machines.

Apart from the usual cleaning processes, no further maintenance is required.

You should always ensure there is a supply of replacement air when the range hood is running. In the case of a recirculation air range hood, this enables air that is still moist after passing through the filters to be replaced. In extracted air solutions, an open window helps to optimise the air flow and prevents negative pressure building up in the kitchen.

The screen must always be pulled out to ensure the range hood can work at its best.

Do not use fabric conditioner if drying the washing in a tumble dryer, unless the manufacturer states otherwise. Tumble drying automatically leaves the washing soft and fluffy to the touch. Using fabric conditioner can cause a thin, barely visible film to form on the drum and humidity sensors. This can lead to malfunctions and prevent the appliance from achieving the required degree of dryness.

By pulling out the OptiDos drawer, the detergents added to both dispensers are automatically shown on the touch display.

Yes, our ingenious automatic wash program continuously measures how dirty the dishes are and adapts the washing process accordingly. This ensures the appliance only uses the amount of time and resources required to get the dishes perfectly clean.

Yes, the moisture control programme runs for 7 days and automatically starts drying the room air if the appliance detects an increase in humidity. However, the DualDry is not designed for permanent operation or the dehumidification of very humid rooms.

Yes. Hand wash, WetClean and wool programs are available, and it’s also possible to activate additional functions such as Easy care.

DualDry releases a heat capacity of some 350-400 W into the room during operation.

Around 30% of the Swiss population have sensitive skin, which means that they need their laundry to be washed even more thoroughly than usual. The skin protection program in AdoraWash appliances is there to help with this by using a specially optimised rinsing procedure and ensuring that water penetrates the laundry extremely effectively. The V-ZUG Special Care Drum also whisks away any remaining traces of detergent. These features help to make skin irritation and itching from leftover detergent a thing of the past.

No, for security reasons, your smartphone or tablet must be on the same home network as your V-ZUG appliance. But you will still get notifications even when your device is not connected to the home network.

An extra-high model offers space for plates with a diameter of 33 cm. This means that an extra-high dishwasher makes sense if you want to use it for large plates, tall wine glasses or baking trays.

The water hardness controller ensures that the water always has the ideal hardness. This makes the detergent more effective and ensures that the dishes and glasses are treated gently.

The hygiene program is designed for particularly sensitive items such as cutting boards and baby bottles.

Because the cutlery drawer is located at the top of the dishwasher, loading cutlery is ergonomic and puts less strain on your back. The cutlery drawer is designed so that the pieces of cutlery do not come into contact with each other, enabling optimal cleaning and protecting your expensive cutlery. Espresso cups can be placed in the central part of the cutlery drawer. Thanks to the cutlery drawer, the cutlery basket in the lower basket is no longer required, leaving more space for plates and other items.

The Sprint program lasts 20 minutes and is suitable for quickly cleaning lightly soiled pre-dinner glasses. The Party program lasts 11 minutes and is perfect for when an exceptionally large number of dishes need to be washed quickly ready to be used again – for example, for a party with many guests. When using the party program, the dishwasher starts with a 20-minute heating phase, after which the dishwasher can be fully loaded up to five times in a row.

Ovens with pyrolytic features practically clean themselves: Dirt is converted into ash by the special pyrolytic self-cleaning program, which heats the cooking chamber to extremely high temperatures. The ash can then be wiped away with a damp cloth. Pyrolytic self-cleaning is available as an option in all appliances in convenience level V4000 or above.

The appliance door can always be opened by hand or by using a wooden spoon. The best way to do this is to hold the corners of the glass front and open the door by hand.

All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models. What’s more, active appliance door ventilation also enables lower outer door temperatures for pyrolytic self-cleaning appliances.

Theoretically yes. Please discuss this option with your specialist dealer.

All-in-one tabs consist of pressed amounts of powder/rinse agent and salt. Because the substances are pressed, they cannot dissolve quickly enough to achieve their full cleaning effect when used in fast programs. The amounts of rinse aid and salt are also not enough to achieve the best possible cleaning result. This is why it is essential to add additional salt and rinse aid to the dishwasher! V-ZUG’s dishwashers are equipped with the All in 1 function, which can be used with tabs of any kind. You can activate this function for any V-ZUG dishwasher via the user settings. With this function, the dishwasher automatically extends the program duration by a maximum of 10 minutes for very short programs, and extends the final drying time by a maximum of 15 minutes. This enables the tabs to dissolve and achieve their full cleaning effect. The All in 1 function also automatically adjusts the use of salt and rinse aid, reducing it by 50%, and guarantees excellent cleaning and drying results every time.

Part load – the program adapts to smaller loads. Far less water is consumed, with a saving of between 1 and 6 litres. The program runtime is reduced by up to 30 minutes.

The patented automatic soft roasting mode guarantees automatic, dynamic control over the food probe temperature. The meat becomes tender, stays juicy and is perfectly cooked. Combined with the new three-point food probe, the meat is prepared to perfection at the push of a button – cooking it to exactly the right level so that it can be served when you want.

Yes, absolutely! The salt is needed to regenerate the dishwasher's integrated softening unit. The softening unit descales the water that flows through the dishwasher. If the water is not descaled, limescale builds up on the integrated components in the dishwasher. The all-in-one tabs only soften the water which enters the dishwasher when a program is selected. This is only partly effective, as each tab contains only a limited amount of salt.

You can set up our dishwashers for use with hot water. To do this, you will need to select the hot water function in the user settings. The dishwasher will now work in an operating mode adapted for use with hot water.

Yes, you can use the lower basket glass compartment to put wine glasses in the lower basket. The glass compartment can easily be placed in the lower basket and can hold several wine glasses, drinking glasses and cups. You can order the glass compartment as an accessory set from our online shop.

Inspiration and ideas for baking and steaming are provided in the nine recipe books “With a passion for detail”. We have developed a wide variety of recipes that are designed to suit the appliances in the Excellence Line. The stored recipes are called up automatically on the display and the specified settings are performed in the right order to save time and effort while cooking. Cooking with these recipes automatically prompts you to use operating modes you aren’t familiar with, helping you to get to know the appliance better.

Microwave ovens can be fitted into a tall cabinet or wall cabinet. This means they don’t take up space on the worktop and their design fits your other V-ZUG appliances.

Microwaves generate electromagnetic oscillations that are passed on to the food molecules. The rapid movement of these food molecules creates frictional heat, which means the food is cooked from within.

There are radiant cooktops, which are controlled via a stove or switch box (formerly Quicklight). By contrast, autarkic radiant cooktops (formerly Toptronic) and induction cooktops feature controls situated directly on the glass surface. The space saved in this way can be used by fitting an additional 1/6th drawer. Cooking by forced induction is the ultimate for the chef’s home kitchen. The CombiCookTop range (formerly Fusion) includes induction cooktops that have an extractor embedded in the cooktop.

Fish pans can be used without difficulty on any cooktop featuring a frying zone.

Cooktops that are fitted flush with the worktop achieve perfect aesthetic integration and create the impression of compact simplicity. Cooktops with a set-off glass frame (bevel-edged) have a very elegant appearance, while chromium steel frames and over-large frames (for replacements) impress with their simplicity of installation and their classic design. They fit in a wide variety of kitchen combinations.

Make sure the cooking zones are generously spaced so the pans don’t touch. We would recommend a cooktop with cooking zones in a V- or A-shaped alignment. You might also consider a panorama cooktop, where the cooking zones are positioned in a single line for easy access.

Induction cooktops are impressively fast. They react quickly and are finely adjustable, which means liquids will rarely boil over, if ever. As the heat is generated in the base of the pan only, the glass around the cooking zone is hardly warmed up at all. Therefore spilt food won’t burn and the cooktop can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.

The two cooling zones are vertically adjustable and can be set to two different precise temperatures suitable for white and red wine, respectively. Available temperatures range from 5°C to 18°C.

The appliance has one fluff filter and two filter mats. Since the gentle stream of air and extremely gentle treatment only remove a small amount of fluff from the fabric, the fluff filter only needs to be emptied occasionally. The appliance automatically detects when the fluff filter is heavily clogged. A notification appears in the display when the fluff filter needs cleaning.

No, the air flow cannot be changed. However, as the air circulation has only a limited impact on the drying, factors such as the size of the room, volume of laundry or how the laundry was hung up are more decisive.

Minimise your energy consumption and costs by defrosting your refrigerator regularly, positioning it in a cool place, not on the balcony, letting warm food cool down before placing it in the fridge and tightly covering liquids such as sauces.

No – the photocatalysis process only removes odours and does not apply odorous or odour-masking substances to the fabric. A cupboard deodoriser can be used to match the scent to your liking.

The Adora SLQ and Adora SL models automatically select the appropriate wash program for different types of laundry such as jeans, baby clothes or net curtains. The baby garments program, for example, ensures that your little one's clothes turn out perfectly hygienically clean. Microbiological tests by the Veritas laboratory have confirmed its effectiveness.

As drying in a room takes place at low temperatures and the laundry in a room can be less efficiently streamed with air, drying laundry in a room can require slightly more energy than when drying in the drum.

The recommended maximum size of the room is 25 m² (50 m³)

The level of noise emitted by a range hood depends on the model and extracted air system chosen. In the case of extracted air range hoods, the following rule applies: the smaller the diameter of the exhaust duct, the louder the appliance. As a result, we recommend using a pipe diameter of 150 mm in extracted air mode.

Our anti-crease programme is yet another highlight of the comprehensive V-ZUG laundry care range. It is designed primarily for blouses, shirts, T-shirts and cotton trousers that are treated for 20 minutes. Put the items on hangers while they are still slightly damp. Iron them lightly if required and they will look as good as new.

Cooking vapours can be extracted without any problems in the case of pots up to 20 cm tall. For pots that are over 21 cm tall, we recommend placing the pot lid at an angle in order to direct the steam towards the range hood.

The lifecycle corresponds to the appliance lifecycle. Therefore 4000 batches / 15 years.

Yes. In the user settings, modular detergents can be activated by activating the function. This type of detergent is added to the detergent dispenser drawer on the right.

Yes, you can – if you have a solar installation at home, you can use the hot water it generates for the washing machine.  This is an optional feature on AdoraWash Vx000 washing machines.

There are refrigerators with or without an internal freezer compartment, pure freezers, refrigerator/freezer combinations, and wine coolers. Under-counter refrigerators are fitted underneath worktops in studio apartments or small flats. Conventional refrigerators are integrated into tall cupboards. These are available as fully integrated versions and also in White or Nero. The real colossus of the refrigerator world comes in the form of the FoodCenter, whose features even include an ice maker for ice cubes, crushed ice or iced water, in addition to a gigantic refrigerator compartment. The energy label provides information about this. Three factors are measured in washing machines – energy consumption, washing performance and spin efficiency. All V-ZUG washing machines have achieved an A+++ rating in energy efficiency.

In addition to the quality of the beans and the blend, the correct grinding technique is especially important: the more evenly the coffee is ground and dosed, the better the end result. The nozzle produces hot water for tea and other hot drinks. It also lets you conveniently froth cold milk for a delicious cappuccino or hot chocolate.

- You need to increase the amount of rinse aid in the user settings (factory-set to level 4). This will increase the level of rinse agent used in the rinsing process, thereby improving the dryness. - Select the DryPlus user setting on the dishwasher. DryPlus increases the temperature during final rinsing and extends the program duration.

Extremely fast programs are offered at each convenience level. These programs last between 11 and 30 minutes depending on the convenience level.

The dishwasher uses sophisticated technology to measure the amount of water which is drained from the dishwasher before flowing back into the water cycle via the drum floor. If little water flows back, the dishwasher recognises that it has a full load. The opposite happens when the dishwasher only has a light load. In this case, a large amount of water flows back into the system and the amount of water is adjusted automatically. This enables the dishwasher to save up to 1.5 litres of water for each main program selected.

The EasyCook function provides you with helpful default settings for over 100 selected foods – so you can cook quickly and with confidence even without a recipe. Simply select the desired food under EasyCook, and the appliance will immediately suggest one or more cooking methods. The selection of foods and recipes can be customised. The “Nutritional style” filter setting can be used to remove foods that are not required at the touch of a button. For example, meat can be deselected if the user is a vegetarian. The “National cuisines” filter, on the other hand, expands the range of dishes to include country-specific recipes and can be quickly adapted to your personal culinary style.

Our cookers, ovens and steamers are all classified in the most economical energy efficiency class A or better.

The delayed start function makes it easy to take advantage of low night electricity rates. What’s more, the appliance remembers the time it was set to on the previous occasion, and with a mere 42dB(A), our dishwashers know how to keep their noise down. You won’t hear a thing.

The “Upper rack only”’ function makes a ZUG dishwasher even more flexible and will save 2.6 litres of water, depending on the wash program.

A dishwasher is such a valuable domestic helper that you can hardly imagine life without it. In recent years, dishwasher's water and energy consumption has been significantly reduced. This means that having an appliance clean the dishes is no longer just a time saver. Today, it is also much more economical and better for the environment than doing the dishes by hand. To clean the amount of dishes a ZUG Adora tackles in a single wash cycle, you would consume up to 40 litres of water, while the Adora manages with just 12.

Yes, absolutely. For optimum cleaning and drying results, we always recommend adding rinse aid to the dishwasher. The amount of rinse aid in the tabs is not sufficient to achieve optimum drying results.

A heating element behind the hot air diffuser plate heats up the air inside the cooking cavity, which is circulated evenly. Any moisture escaping from the food is kept to a minimum within the cooking cavity. The food retains its moisture. The feature is suitable for gratins, casseroles, bread and yeast pastries on two levels.

The PizzaPlus program combines hot air with bottom heat. This allows pizzas, Italian focaccias, quiches and flans to achieve a golden-brown surface and crispy base.

Induction is the technology of the future: it is faster and more energy-efficient. One litre of water is brought to the boil in approximately two minutes. This is made possible by smart technology. Induction generates heat exactly where it is needed in the base of the pot. The glass around the heated cooking zone stays virtually cold, so no energy is wasted. An induction stove uses up to 40% less energy compared to other heating methods.

No, cooking food in a microwave is completely safe. A study conducted by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) concluded that there is no reason whatsoever to advise against the use of this cooking method.
