A house for two parties by the lake of Walenstadt, in Switzerland, Alpamyr in Amden was designed by architect Sandro Durrer to welcome different generations and adapt to multiple life situations. The kitchen was conceived as a peaceful space that creates a connection between the interior design and the landscape outside, conveying a sense of both contact and protection.

In a wide passage within the open kitchen, a series of tall cabinets integrate a selection of V-ZUG’s appliances. State-of-the-art technology blends harmoniously within the wall in natural stone, evoking a feeling of timelessness that transcends styles and fashions. An elegant and practical in-home cellar for wine connoisseurs, the WineCooler V6000 is an open invitation to evenings of conversation and leisure.
“Our work is founded on holistic conceptual thinking and a deep commitment to quality.” Sandro Durrer

Emphasised by both natural and artificial lighting, the large island table in Pietra Serena faces the counter, occupying the heart of the living area. Over four meters long, it offers seating space for people on both sides. The surface in the same natural stone conceals two V-ZUG CookTops V2000, a fine example of induction technology that delivers fast results while consuming less energy than conventional hobs.
