For many years we have been involved in the sponsorship of national sports clubs, cultural organizations and in the culinary field. The following is an overview of the main events:

ESAF 2019

We were one of the “king partners” of the 2019 Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival (ESAF) in Zug. Both parties were delighted to be involved in this partnership. As a traditional Zug-based company we also always strive for maximum performance – just like ESAF.

EV Zug

We have supported the local ice sports association in Zug for over 20 years. In the 1997/98 season, EVZ won its only Swiss championship title and celebrated the biggest success in the association’s history. Today, EV Zug – which plays at the state-of-the-art Bossard Arena – is one of the most professional ice hockey clubs in the national league, and we are proud to be a gold sponsor.

Genuss Film Festival

Since its first edition, the Genuss Film Festival Zug has become a top-calibre event that attracts visitors from beyond the local region. The continuation of the film experience at the gala dinner, created by a star chef and which is held at one of the most beautiful venues in the city of Zug, is an exquisite occasion. We are proud to have been a partner since the outset.

Lucerne Symphony Orchestra

At its very first performances in 1806 the orchestra comprised just a handful of music lovers. That was over 200 years ago. The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra is thus Switzerland's oldest orchestra. Today, it is a remarkable musical body of around seventy musicians who engage in demanding projects with young and ambitious conductors. We are a proud partner of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.

Sandra Stöckli

Sandra Stöckli is a Swiss wheelchair athlete who won an Olympic diploma at the Paralympics in 2016. The 33-year-old is one of the most successful Swiss handbikers and para-cycling athletes. We are proud to be the principal sponsor of this athlete from eastern Switzerland.

World Curling Championships

We are the official main sponsor of the World Curling Championships outside of Canada until the end of the 2022/23 season. As a Swiss manufacturer of household appliances, not only do we have the elements of water and ice in common with the sport of curling, but we also represent precision and Swissness. We are proud to be the main sponsor of the World Curling Championships.

Rigi Mountain Railways

V-ZUG and the Rigi Mountain Railways share traditional Swiss values as well as our location on the shores of Lake Zug. The view from Rigi Kulm overlooking Lake Zug is breathtaking – and in good weather you can even spot our site. The Rigi Mountain Railways are celebrating their 150th anniversary in 2021. We are proud to be embarking upon this partnership with Rigi Mountain Railways in this historic year.

Smiling Gecko is an aid project founded by Hannes Schmid. With various projects in the areas of farming, handicrafts, tourism, gastronomy, schools and education, they take a holistic, long-term approach towards improving living conditions in rural communities in Cambodia.
