You set up production facilities and put them into operation. During ongoing production, you will monitor processes and carry out quality checks. You will also have the opportunity to help out in production from time to time. You will repair faults, maintain our plants and optimise processes to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You will document production data, faults and your maintenance work with precision.
Ever wonder how our ovens, steamers and dishwashers are made? At V-ZUG, raw materials are turned into finished products on complex production lines. Are you interested in how you can use your skills to help ensure that our production runs smoothly? When you complete your apprenticeship as a plant operator with Federal VET Diploma at V-ZUG, you will become an expert in our production facilities.
Training
The three-year training programme consists of both basic and in-depth training in production planning, plant construction and quality management. For the entire duration of your training, you will have the opportunity to reinforce the skills you have learned across different departments. You will also benefit from an internal mechanics internship.
You will attend classes one day a week at the vocational school in Olten or Chur. Would you like to complete your vocational baccalaureate at the same time as your apprenticeship? This is possible in consultation with V-ZUG.
