Is it possible to use an extracted air or a recirculation air solution in conjunction with the Fusion hob with integrated range hood?

The level of noise emitted by a range hood depends on the model and extracted air system chosen. In the case of extracted air range hoods, the following rule applies: the smaller the diameter of the exhaust duct, the louder the appliance. What material is the ventilation duct of the DSMS hob hood made from?
The material is a flame-retardant plastic blend, which is self-extinguishing with a V0 classification as per the UL94 standard.How do the hob hood and the hob with integrated range hood work?
Steam and odours rise at a maximum rate of one metre per second. The V-ZUG hob hood or hob with integrated range hood extracts the air using a cross current that is higher than the rising speed of the cooking vapour. As a result, cooking vapours and odours can be effectively extracted straight away at the hob.Does the hob ventilation/hob hood ventilation also work with taller pots?
Cooking vapours can be extracted without any problems in the case of pots up to 20 cm tall. For pots that are over 21 cm tall, we recommend placing the pot lid at an angle in order to direct the steam towards the range hood.What do I need to consider with regard to the exhaust duct?
If possible, you should make sure that the duct diameter is at least 125 mm and ideally 150 mm. If there is no room for a round pipe, a flat channel with an equivalent cross section may also be used. The use of 90° pipe bends should be kept to a minimum. Narrowing cross sections and reducing pipes with a smooth inner surface should also be avoided. We recommend using short piping lengths, wall boxes with large slats and sufficient replacement air.What is the difference between an oven and a cooker?
A cooker is always installed underneath the worktop and has switches that allow the hob to be controlled. The oven is usually installed at eye level in a tall unit. This makes operation more convenient and ergonomic.
What is EasyCook and how do the filter functions work?
The EasyCook function provides you with helpful default settings for over 100 selected foods – so you can cook quickly and with confidence even without a recipe. Simply select the desired food under EasyCook, and the appliance will immediately suggest one or more cooking methods. The selection of foods and recipes can be customised. The «Nutritional style» filter setting can be used to remove foods that are not required at the touch of a button. For example, meat can be deselected if the user is a vegetarian. The «National cuisines» filter, on the other hand, expands the range of dishes to include country-specific recipes and can be quickly adapted to your personal culinary style.
What is the life cycle of the drum lighting LED?
The lifecycle corresponds to the appliance lifecycle. Therefore 4,000 batches / 15 years.
Can the drum lighting LEDs be replaced?
Yes, the drum lighting can be replaced.
Does the AdoraDry V2000 have the same programmes as the Adora TL?
Not quite. The Down thick, Down thin, Bed linen, Outdoor programmes used very rarely by users have not been adopted. Making a clearer distinction between the V2000 and the V4000.
Why does the V6000 model not exist with OptiDos?
Due to the heat pump, it is not possible to implement it in the AdoraWash V6000 due to a lack of space.
What is V-ZUG BakeOmatic?

How do I prevent the formation of mould?
Mould is caused by excess humidity in the room. Whenever laundry is hung up, the room air laundry drying function should be started to remove the humidity from the room. Alternatively, the moisture control programme can also be selected.
What are the advantages of baking with hot air over traditional top/bottom heat?
Advantages over traditional top/bottom heat are that the results are comparable to what you can buy at a bakery. The V-ZUG hot-air concept achieves much more efficient (hot) air distribution because the hot air circulates in the oven cavity and the heat cooks the top and bottom of the baked goods more evenly. What’s more, you can even bake on two levels at the same time using hot air.
Is there a heating mode for pizza and flans?
The PizzaPlus programme combines hot air with bottom heat. This is what makes your pizza, quiche or fruit tart base wonderfully crispy.
How do I achieve perfectly tender meat?
The patented automatic soft roasting mode guarantees automatic, dynamic control over the food probe temperature. The meat becomes tender, stays juicy and is perfectly cooked. Combined with the new three-point food probe, the meat is prepared to perfection at the push of a button – cooking it to exactly the right level so that it can be served when you want.
How do I need to clean the DualDry?
The DualDry is cleaned like an Adora heat pump dryer. This means that the fluff filter should be regularly cleaned and the air inlet flap wiped with a damp cloth. The front insertion can be rinsed under running water.
Why is it so important to clean the dryer's fluff filters on a regular basis?
Blocked fluff filters and filter pads weaken the airflow. This means the laundry takes more time and energy to dry. This is why the fluff filters and filter pads should be cleaned regularly as stated in the operating manual.
How does bottom heat work?
Heating is provided by the bottom heating element and allows cake bases to be baked intensively and containers to be sterilised. For a crispy result, we recommend using the dark enamel tray.
How does hot air work?
A heating element behind the hot air diffuser plate heats up the air inside the cooking chamber, which is circulated evenly. The feature is suitable for cakes, biscuits, bread and roasted meat on two levels. Set the temperature approx. 20 °C lower than for top/bottom heat.
How does the hot air humid programme work?
A heating element behind the hot air diffuser plate heats up the air inside the cooking chamber, which is circulated evenly. Any moisture escaping from the food is kept to a minimum within the cooking chamber. The food retains its moisture. The feature is suitable for gratins, casseroles, bread and yeast pastries on two levels.
How many hobs can I connect to a range hood via Bluetooth?

How do I connect my hob to the range hood so that I can use OptiLink?
Connecting, or pairing, your V-ZUG built-in range hood with our networkable hobs is a breeze.Can I adjust the degree of dryness With a V-ZUG tumble dryer?
V-ZUG dryers are designed for minimum energy consumption. A humidity sensor continuously measures your laundry's degree of dryness. If in spite of this, your laundry turns out too dry or not dry enough, you can adjust the degree of dryness according to your needs.
Should I use fabric conditioner if I want to dry my laundry in the tumble dryer?
Do not use fabric conditioner if drying the washing in a tumble dryer, unless the manufacturer states otherwise. Tumble drying automatically leaves the washing soft and fluffy to the touch. Using fabric conditioner can cause a thin, barely visible film to form on the drum and humidity sensors. This can lead to malfunctions and prevent the appliance from achieving the required degree of dryness.
Does the unit have a discharge pump?
Yes, a discharge pump is installed. The maximum feed height of the discharge height is 1.2 m.
It is possible to dry laundry in the drum and in the room at the same time?
No, only one operating mode works at a time.
What makes the extractor hoods particularly user-friendly?
We recommend conveying the extracted air outside wherever possible, as this carries smells away from the kitchen. The most effective solution is to use an exhaust system (duct) with a diameter of 150 mm.
Where does the extracted water go?
The DualDry has an integrated discharge pump. The water is directed into a syphon with a hose.
What is the moisture control programme?
The moisture control programme automatically starts the room air laundry drying over 7 days if the appliance detects an increase in humidity. The target humidity in the room can be set between 50% and 60%.
Are microwaves dangerous?
No, cooking food in a microwave is completely safe. A study conducted by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) concluded that there is no reason whatsoever to advise against the use of this cooking method.
Can the DualDry also be used to keep the room dry?
Yes, the moisture control programme runs for 7 days and automatically starts drying the room air if the appliance detects an increase in humidity. However, the DualDry is not designed for permanent operation or the dehumidification of very humid rooms.
Does the room need to be closed?
An optimal drying process during room air laundry drying is guaranteed in rooms where the windows and doors are closed. This reduces the penetration of humid air from the outside.
Does the DualDry also work in unheated rooms?
An optimal drying result is reached at a room temperature of 10-30°C. In rooms with very low temperatures, the function may be restricted. The DualDry may not be used under 8°C.
Can I switch off/suppress the automatic light activation if I don’t really need a light above the cooking area?
For safety reasons, we recommend that the cooking area is always well lit.
Does the screen need to be pulled out on a built-in range hood for OptiLink to work?
The screen must always be pulled out to ensure the range hood can work at its best.
Which dishes are not suitable for microwave cooking?
Not suitable for microwave use are cast iron pots, pans, sheet pans, aluminium foil, tin cans, cake trays, dishes with gold rims or metal decorations and food thermometers.
Does the softener have an influence on the drying time?
The use of softeners can result in a slightly longer drying process, but there are no studies that confirm this assumption.
What is the function of the Favorites button?
This enables you to select your favourite cooking programme by pushing a single button. Save the settings for your favourite programme, such as heating a mug of milk in the morning, and all you have to do is put the milk in the microwave and push the button.
What is the purpose of the hot air function in a microwave oven?
You can use your microwave in combined mode to prepare a gratin, lasagne, cake or baked potatoes, or bake bread and puff pastry using only the hot air mode. The possibilities are endless. Compared to a regular oven, meals in microwaves take only two-thirds to half the time in combined mode.
How often does the activated charcoal filter need to be replaced?
The activated charcoal filters can be easily removed and regenerated, depending on the model. The most efficient long-life plus activated charcoal filter, for example, can be regenerated in the oven every three to six months. The long-life activated charcoal filter can be cleaned in the dishwasher and then dried in the oven. Conventional activated charcoal filters need to be replaced every six months or so.Is it still necessary to soak encrusted gratin dishes and fondue pans in water over night?
The fondue/raclette programme provides a remedy for this. Caquelons and raclette pans become perfectly clean without soaking. The programme is also suitable as a "super intensive programme" thanks to the active softening phase. Pre-rinsing burnt gratin dishes is a thing of the past thanks to this world first from V-ZUG.
My dishwasher has an unpleasant odour – what can I do?
To remove unpleasant odours, you can take the following steps. Remove the filter and clean it thoroughly. Select a more powerful programme, such as the Intensive programme. Refill the regenerating salt. Run the Pre-rinsing programme from time to time. Buy a commercially available dishwasher cleaner and add this using the Intensive programme.
What kind of regeneration salt do I need to use for the dishwasher?
You can use either fine or coarse-grained regular regeneration salt.
How has the use of water in our dishwashers developed over time?
20 years ago, our dishwashers would still use 38 litres of water. Now, our SL line dishwashers start from as little as 5 litres of water in the Automatic programme.
How has the use of energy in our dishwashers developed over time?
In the standard programme, our heat pump device uses a record low of 0.55 kWh of energy. 20 years ago, this figure would have been four times as great, with dishwashers using 2 kWh of energy.
What is the capacity of a dishwasher?
Dishwasher capacity is given in the form of place settings, which constitute a standardised value. A place setting comprises a certain number of plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, bowls and other items. Our dishwashers are able to accommodate between 12 and 14 place settings depending on the model.
What energy efficiency class does the DualDry have?
The DualDry is extremely energy-efficient. In tumble drying mode, it meets the requirements for energy efficiency class A++ and in room air laundry drying, the requirements for energy efficiency class A1.
Can the start time be programmed?
The programme start can be individually defined via the delayed start. Furthermore, the controls can be automated via the moisture control programme.
How loud is the room air function?
64 dB(A) in room air operation according to test regulation.
Does the DualDry blow out hot air?
During room air laundry drying, the room air (and therefore the clothes) is dehumidified; to this end, a heat pump is used. The temperature of the air blown out is only slightly above the temperature of the room air. DualDry releases a heat capacity of some 350-400 W into the room during operation. This means that the air blown out in normal operation is 5 - 10°C higher than the room temperature, but it is not electronically heated, which results in very good energy efficiency values. If the DualDry blows out tangibly hot air, this is often caused by a clogged fluff filter. Only when drying in the drum is the laundry dried with heated air.
Can the air flow be changed?
No, the air flow cannot be changed. However, as the air circulation has only a limited impact on the drying, factors such as the size of the room, volume of laundry or how the laundry was hung up are more decisive.
Does the DualDry have an hour timer?
Although the DualDry has time-controlled programmes, they do not need to be used to switch off the appliance automatically. An integrated humidity sensor measures the level of dryness reached and automatically deactivates the DualDry if the desired degree has been reached.
The drying period depends on the following factors:
spinning capacity of the selected washing programme, textile types, laundry volume in the room, room temperature and humidity, placement of the laundry in the room and how it is arranged, hanging habits (“double” over a line, “single” over a line with pegs, “single” over two lines)
How do I recognise a clogged filter in the DualDry?
The appliance reports a fault. A9: Cleaning sieves and mats.
How long does the drying take?
According to the measurement in line with the standard, the drying capacity at a maximum room size of 9 m² is 1.34 kg/h and it takes 5h 40min.
Is there not a risk of burning yourself on the door front?
All appliances are guaranteed to have low external door temperatures. In the case of normal ovens and steamers, a triple-layer glass door ensures safe operation while cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning ovens actually have a four-layer glass door concept. Thanks to the innovative door concept in the Advanced and Excellence Line, the door is ventilated with air from the room, thereby keeping the temperature of the outer door lower than it is for the standard models. What’s more, active appliance door ventilation also enables lower outer door temperatures for pyrolytic self-cleaning appliances.
What exactly is a water hardness controller?
The water hardness controller ensures that the water always has the ideal hardness. This makes the detergent more effective and ensures that the dishes and glasses are treated gently.
How does the impulse-controlled rinse agent sensor work?
The impulse-controlled rinse agent sensor ensures that only the minimum amount of rinse agent is used, depending on water hardness and load.
Why do dishwashers need a hygiene programme?
The hygiene programme is designed for particularly sensitive items such as cutting boards and baby bottles.
How much energy does the energy saver button actually save?
The energy saver programme reduces the washing temperature by 5°C, which results in an energy saving of 10%.
Which descaling solutions are suitable?
We recommend only using durgol swiss steamer for descaling. Standard descaling solutions are not suitable as they may contain foam-creating additives or not be effective enough. Using a different descaler could cause overfoaming, inadequate descaling or, in extreme cases, damage to the appliance.
What steps need to be taken if the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period of time?
If you are not going to use the appliance for an extended period of time, empty the water tank and open the appliance door.
What is the energy consumption like compared to tumble drying or previous room air laundry dryers?
As drying in a room takes place at low temperatures and the laundry in a room can be less efficiently streamed with air, drying laundry in a room can require slightly more energy than when drying in the drum.
What is the difference between the Party programme and the Sprint programme?
The Sprint programme lasts 20 minutes and is suitable for quickly cleaning lightly soiled pre-dinner glasses. The Party programme lasts 11 minutes and is perfect for when an exceptionally large number of dishes need to be washed quickly ready to be used again – for example, a party with many guests. When using the party programme, the dishwasher starts with a 20-minute heating phase, after which the dishwasher can be fully loaded up to five times in a row.
Why does the appliance run for so long?
Room air laundry drying takes more time, as the laundry is streamed less efficiently with air and the temperatures during this process are also lower than when drying in the drum. Other factors that slow down the drying process: A lot of laundry in a small room, very damp laundry (of small spinning speed), open doors or windows, humidity that additionally enters the room, clogged front filter mat, items that prevent the release of air, soiled or faulty humidity sensor.
My dishes are still damp when they come out of the dishwasher – what can I do?
- You need to increase the amount of rinse aid in the user settings (ex-works level 4). This will increase the level of rinse agent used in the rinsing process, thereby improving the dryness. - Select the DryPlus user setting on the dishwasher. DryPlus increases the temperature during final rinsing and extends the programme duration.
What is different with the new control knobs on the V2000 hobs?
The new control knobs offer intuitive, accessible operation with improved haptic and optional acoustic feedback. Supported by VisionAssist, they enable precise and simple control. Their traditional interaction appeals to many users, and they are available in Black, Platinum, and Pearl for flexible kitchen design integration.
How much laundry can be dried?
The nominal load is 1–7 kg for the drying process in the machine. If room air laundry drying is applied, a maximum room size of 25 m² is recommended. The room air laundry dryer has a drying capacity of 1.34 kg/h, which corresponds to about 5 hours for a full laundry load of 7 kg.
Can rain-soaked clothes also be dried?
Yes, wet clothes can easily be dried again in next to no time using the additional drying programme.
How is the odour removal function in the RefreshButler different to other drying cabinet appliances?
The RefreshButler actually eliminates odorous substances, thereby removing odours with a lasting effect. Other appliances simply mask odorous substances with perfume or odour-masking scents during the refresh programme.
Can all textiles be refreshed in the RefreshButler?
Virtually all of them – but we advise against using the RefreshButler on water-sensitive fabrics such as fur or leather.
How does it eliminate germs and bacteria from clothing?
Recurring cycles of steam and special photocatalysis technology remove 99.99 % of germs and bacteria from clothing.
How does the RefreshButler dry the clothes?
The integrated heat pump and the ventilation system blow warm air into the interior and whisk away the humid air.
When does the water tank need to be filled or emptied?
We recommend filling the fresh water tank at the start of each programme and emptying both tanks at the end of each programme.The appliance automatically detects and notifies you when the condensation tank is full or the fresh water tank is empty.
How does the OptiDos drawer need to be cleaned?
There are two options. In the event of minor soiling, the unique, automatic cleaning programme can be started via the OptiDos settings. It rinses both OptiDos dispensers with water. The second option can be applied when switching from softener to detergent or in the event of strong soiling (e.g. deposited detergent). In doing so, the OptiDos drawer can be easily removed manually without using tools and cleaned by rinsing under the tap. Do not clean the drawer in the dishwasher.
Can you install an extra-high dishwasher under any circumstances?
Theoretically yes. Please discuss this option with your specialist dealer.
What installation considerations are there for the CookTop V6000 FullFlex hob?
When planning and installing the FullFlex hob, ensure that the front cabinetry includes a ventilation slit of at least 2 mm to allow proper hot-air exhaust. Detailed requirements can be found in the planning aid.
Is it normal for tumble dryers to generate fluff?
Fluff consists of fine threads produced by friction during the manufacturing, wearing and washing of textiles. This does not mean that the appliance puts an excessive strain on your laundry. Even with laundry dried on a line, fluff can be observed when you shake or iron it. While the laundry is wet, fluff clings to it. In the tumble dryer, the fluff is separated from the textiles and caught by the fluff filter in the door. The amount of fluff depends on the type of laundry, but finding some fluff in the filter after drying is quite normal.
Does drying take less time if the laundry is well spun?
Indeed, thorough spinning reduces the time and energy required to dry your laundry. Creases caused during spinning will be largely flattened out in the tumble dryer.
Are additional accessories required to use OptiDos?
No. Both detergent dispensers are supplied with the washing machine and can be immediately filled with the desired liquid agents or softeners.
Can organic or soap detergents also be used?
Yes. In the user settings, modular detergents can be activated by activating the function. This type of detergent is added to the detergent dispenser drawer on the right.
Does the use of the DualDry with the moisture control programme still have an effect and is it even influenced by the Minergie system?
It is unlikely that the combination of “comfort ventilation (target humidity: 30–50%) and DualDry (target humidity: 50–60%)” would cause problems.
DualDry: why is the moisture control programme restricted to a maximum of 7 days?
This restriction prevents the appliance from being used as a construction dryer. This is not what it is designed for. The running time has an influence on the components and can also be considered a safety issue. A period of 7 days has been defined as once a week is generally considered sufficient for washing and drying.
What different types of fridges are available?
There are refrigerators with or without an internal freezer compartment, pure freezers, refrigerator/freezer combinations, and wine coolers. Under-counter refrigerators are fitted underneath worktops in studio apartments or small flats. Conventional refrigerators are integrated into tall cupboards. These are available as fully integrated versions as well as in White or Nero. The real colossus of the refrigerator world comes in the form of the FoodCenter, whose features even include an ice maker for ice cubes, crushed ice or iced water in addition to a gigantic refrigerator compartment. We also offer luxury refrigerators and freezers in the Supreme line, whose sheer space and flexibility make them ideal for stocking up.Can I also connect the dishwasher to a hot water supply?
You can set up our dishwashers for use with hot water. To do this, you will need to select the hot water function in the user settings. The dishwasher will now work in an operating mode adapted for use with hot water.

How can I safely place big bottles in the fridge?
Certain appliances feature a bottom compartment complete with bottle drawer, which offers vertical storage for many large bottles in a handy removable basket. A bottle rack for horizontal storage is also available in certain models.How can I place bulkier items in the fridge?
The break-proof glass shelves are height-adjustable, which means you can make space for larger items in your fridge. Some models have perfected the art of space saving: they feature divided shelves whose front half can be pushed towards the back of the fridge to free space for tall items on the bottom shelf.Can powder-based detergents be used with OptiDos?
No, the two tanks are only for liquid detergent. However, washing with powder is still possible with the AdoraWash V4000 OptiDos, at any time and without technical modification.
Is liquid detergent still the trend or will there be a switch to tabs?
The trend is currently for liquid detergents and is moving away from powder. Tabs are hardly a thing yet when it comes to laundry. Percentages: 68% liquid, 26% powder and 6% caps/tabs (source: Mibelle Group, October 2018)
Why are grease stains or other stains left on the washed laundry?
We recommend checking the dosage setting of the selected OptiDos dispenser and, if necessary, adjusting it in accordance with the currently used agent. Here, we recommend the quantity stated by the manufacturer for 4–5 kg of laundry. The water hardness set may also need to be checked or a powder-based wool detergent (contains bleach) used.
What types of range hoods are there?
There are different solutions to suit you – whether you want your range hood to be an eye-catching design feature or for it to be discreetly integrated into your kitchen. On the wall If you want to make your range hood stand out, then a wall hood is a great choice. Wall hoods are also available as slanted versions which provide ample headroom. They are installed on the wall directly above the hob. Integrated into the kitchen units If you would rather incorporate the hood into the kitchen so that it is virtually invisible, then we recommend a built-in range hood with a glass canopy, a flat-panel range hood or an integrated range hood. These are perfect for kitchens in which you need to make clever use of the space. On the ceiling Range hoods designed for ceiling installation are the perfect solution in open-plan kitchens that feature a free-standing cooking island. Choose your favourites from our elegant ceiling range hoods and our wide range of attractive island hoods. Downdraft or in the hob itself Without long detours, cooking vapours are whisked away at the very place where they first develop – on the hob itself. Our integrated hob hood, the pull-out downdraft and the induction hob with integrated range hood offer increased headroom and extract the vapours downwards.Is it a good idea to install a sound absorber with a wall/island hood or built-in range hood?
Yes, we would definitely recommend installing a sound absorber to reduce the overall noise emissions. In extracted air mode, both the fan noise going outside and the outdoor noise coming inside via the extracted air duct can be reduced. In the case of recirculation mode, the sound absorber is positioned directly on the fan nozzle in the hood flue.What is the purpose of the textile type programme?
The Adora SLQ and Adora SL models automatically select the appropriate wash programme for different types of laundry such as jeans, baby clothes or net curtains. The baby garments programme, for example, ensures that your little one's clothes turn out perfectly hygienically clean.
